Simple upgrade that works
Worked surprisingly well and very easy installation. Just plugged it into the SD slot of my ND Miata without oem navigation started the engine. Navigation came up right away. Worth the investment to have maps active without a smartphone.

Works great on 2024 CX-50
Well worth the money. Also, it shows speed limit of the road I’m on in my gauge cluster area as well as heads up display. Plus, turns if you’re using it. I mainly got it to see speed limits and have a backup GPS.I popped the card in with my car running and it worked instantly. Way better than paying dealer price.

Card detected as FRAUDULENT by Mazda Software!
The vehicle loaded the card. The maps were outdated. But this is the biggest issue that caused me to return immediately! Mazda software says this card is fraud! I have another 3rd party card that never did this.

Plug and play. Works well!
Just plugged it and it was all set. It activates the speed limit display on the windshield projector and dashboard. Even shows the speed limit in red. The maps are supposed to be 2023 and back. But it's a bit earlier than that and some newer streets are no showing. Not a big deal. Hence my 4.5 rating

It does work just give it time!
Product works great for my 2021 Mazda CX-5. I thought I had bought a dude because when I plugged it in ot did nothing and got same message I needed an authorized chip from the dealer. I started reading the reviews and got some helpful information I wanted to share just in case someone feels discouraged afterthinking it doesn't work. The chip takes time to register with your vehicle so push the chip in till it clicks, turn your car on to kick off the process, turn your car off and go do other things for a few hours. After you come back just turn on your car again and navigation will be working fine!

Product works for 2023 mazda cx5
Sum up of review at the bottom of review for the i need quick readersInitially I was worried I put the SD card in My 2023 Mazda CX 5 and waited 30 seconds for it to work. Turned on my car nothing got worried and started the return process to give it back. However I left the SD card in my car overnight. When I woke up the next morning to go shopping my navigation system was working with the SD card just fine. I assume that times veri and take time to download the info to the car. So give it time to do it's thing before you panic. Now on to the next part. It's not a "pretty" map nav. If you want pretty buy the 300+ from mazda and you'll have the neat looking map with all the bells and whistles. However this does come with voice, day and night vision and pretty easy use of putting information in to get to A and B. But it's basic 30 something dollars basic plus shipping and tax. You get what you pay for. The price is right the product works. Quality matches the price and im a happy person.End of review sum up, expect a 30 dollar sd nav map ( still pretty damn good) , wait more then 30 seconds before you panic (possibly a day), if you want fancy navigation buy the $300+ from mazda.
