I was replacing flagpoles yearly until I found this!

I had been using aluminum 2-piece poles for some time and because of the wind at our house they would not last, always giving out from the inside. This fiberglass pole seemed like a good option; one piece and fiberglass for strength. However, it was a no-go. I didn't realize how thin (and not too strong) the pole was, almost like a honeycomb interior, and only lasted a few months. Cannot recommend if you have a lot of wind.

It is super strong. It is not as floppy as other reviews suggest. I find it to give just as much as wood does. Plus in strong wind the stiffer the pole the more stress on your mount. It gets really windy where I have mine so some flex for safety is welcome.Seems maybe a little pricey for a stick of PVC and fiberglass and the finial is straight trash.

The flag pole is a little short for a 3 x 5 flag but it works. The one problem I have with the pole is that it is a little too flexible in the wind. So far no problems but it does make me nervous when the wind comes up. Right now I have a nylon parade banner flying from the pole but I prefer dacron flags. I'll see what happens when I put up the heavier dacron flag.

In Southern California, we frequently experience Santa Ana winds in which gusts of 50 mph and above are not uncommon. Even in those gusts, we fly a 3x5 flag on this pole without incident. I won't use anything else.

At long last found a quality flag pole instead of those cheap tin sectional poles. So glad I found this company.
