Works great. I've never used one before. It does a good job & the extra smaller pcs made it a great deal.

*UPDATE* 2 months in and this unit has stopped working. Its beyond the Amazon return window, so I tried to contact the manufacturer. The phone number and email are both incorrect. Disappointed is an understatement. This unit is narrow, so it fits just about anywhere you want to put it. I have it in my bathroom that doesn't have a window. The unit will run constantly if that is what you want, or you can set the timer and it'll stop automatically. I turn the unit on at the beginning of my shower and press the timer button. It runs for 6 hours and then stops. All the accumulated water has fully evaporated at the end of the 6 hours. I empty the unit's collection tray once a week, but its far from full. I don't have any use for the bars that tell you the room is too humid, so I threw them in the trash. My only complaint is that the power plug is on the front of the unit. Its not really a problem, except that the location I have the unit sitting in, the wall plug is on the opposite side, so the power cord goes across the front of the unit in full view of the room. Ugly, but does not interfere with the function.

Good little machine but the dehumidifier for closet doesn’t work as intended. It never changes colors even though there is moisture in the closet.

In the past, I used a much larger and more professional dehumidifier that could even extract nearly a liter of water from the air daily (I live in an extremely humid area). While I didn't expect this dehumidifier, given its price and size, to achieve the same goal, I did hope to see some effect. I think, at least in my case, using it or not makes no difference, and I doubt it can reduce the humidity in my small room by even 10 percent. During the time I've used it, it has only managed to extract a few milliliters of water, and although it is quiet, it feels underpowered. Its silence isn't a benefit but rather a consequence of its low power (you have to place your hand close to the grille to feel a faint breeze).Personally, I was a bit disappointed, though I respect the opinions of those who found it effective.

Hardly dehumidified my bathroom and stopped working after a month. Do not buy.

I was skeptical because it is extremely small. But, the after first couple days it was already full. So, it was great to see that it was actually working. The 2 small humidifier packs that it comes with are very convenient, as well.
