Fitted these this morning to our upvc windows to stop the cats escaping when windows are open. Very easy to fit, especially if you drill a small pilot hole first. I did use slightly shorter screws than those provided to avoid metal inside frames. I also sited them offset to reduce the gap size, as cats are notoriously good at getting through gaps you think are too small. Doing this would possibly strain them with the weight of a toddler/child pushing on it but ok for cats I think. This was a two-pack but will be ordering 4 more for other windows now Im happy with how they fit.

Is horrible product!!!! This company killing childrens!!!! If trust this lockers can loose child... my husband did install it and I said try to lock and make sure cable keep window and is not!!!! Even locked position u can easily take cable off!!! That's mean window is open and child can fall out! This seller should be in prison! And not only one but both that lockers don't are secure that's mean all day selling is like that!

A few important things missing.I can live with having to go find some screws in the shed but a lock that comes without a key is pretty much useless.And definitely would take the "high quality" of the item description.There are pieces of metal that should have been removed still inside the lock, this indicates poor quality control.I needed to use this on a second floor window to help my child safe, I do not trust that this item is safe to use for this purpose just caused of the lack of control, finish and the fact a crucial part of it is missing

For £9.99 you're getting peace of mind that these window restricters offer.They allow your windows to open up to approx. 18cm.They aren't heavy grade, which you would expect, given the price. Probably more usable for a childs bedroom, to stop them opening the window too far, than as a deterrent to stop burglars as the wire inside the plastic is only about 3mm thick.Easily installed to a wooden frame, it took me about 10 minutes.

I bought these last year, today being a hot day I’ve opened a window that doesn’t get used very often, this so called window lock won’t stay locked, not much use now, was happy at first but I suppose you get what you pay for. If you’re buying these to keep your pets (as I was) or your kids from opening the window too far don’t buy these,

Very easy to install but completely useless unfortunately. Don’t rely on these to keep your children safe. Opened when the key was no where near it. Have returned but now have ugly holes in my window frames.

Absolutely terrible product! So cheap and UNSAFE!! ... BOTH keys have snapped when trying to lock them just ridiculous DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!

We fitted these, and applied a small amount of pressure to test (less than a child would do) and the window opened, it was locked properly with the key and fitted correctly. Just glad I tested these beforehand.
