I own other Bissell products to clean my carpets which are great. I have hardwood floors and tile. I wasn’t sure about using steam to clean my hardwood. I thought I had purchased the one without steam. But, there is a setting for use specifically on hardwood floors. Look carefully at the product specifications because not all hardwood floors can be cleaned with this. I decided to give it a try in one area and I was amazed at how clean this Bissell left my floors. I cleaned the rest of my hardwood floors and tile and they looked beautiful. I am 70 with serious back pain issues and it’s hard to clean my floors because I don’t have the ability to hand clean my floors, and I end with floors that don’t look great. This machine was so light and easy to use I was genuinely surprised and quite pleased. So easy, I did 3 large rooms and the bathroom easily in a short amount of time (especially compared to cleaning it by hand). It comes with 4 cleaning heads and uses 2 at a time. They cleaned so much dirt off my floors I had to wash them after 2 rooms. I ended up buying an extra set of cleaning heads so I could clean my house the same day with out having to clean and dry them. That was a personal decision, and 4 cleaning pads may be sufficient for your purposes. The only surprise was it uses distilled water, but that’s available at all grocery stores. For me this was a very worthwhile purchase. My floors have never looked better.
