Excellent cable extender
Slim profile cable with sleeve - looks well made and does the job of extending PSU cables where needed

Extension or ease of access, these are handy.
I have mentioned in other reviews I do build a lot of PC's, mostly for fun. Depending on what parts you have or use, sometimes you might need longer cables and these cables are for the highest power connectors on a build - the ones at the top of the motherboard. Now most power supplies have pretty long cables but if you're using a particularly tall chassis (full tower) or you have an old PSU with slightly stumpy cables - OR - if you just want to make it easier to replace a PSU (as they can be a pain to remove past some coolers/radiators once installed) these are what you need. You get 2 extensions - so you're sorted for pretty much any motherboard and just plug in to that and then into the PSU cables themselves - as said, I'd be quite happy to fit these so if I had to replace my PSU, I can just unclip on the motherboard tray side rather than having to remove a cooler or a radiator to do so.The cables are (as indicated) 25cm (or 9-10 inches give or take) and have seemingly solid connected ends. The cables are also sleeved nicely although so are pretty much every PSU cable I use, but it does make it easier to tie to the tray. The bag they arrive in is sealed with a ziplock as well as a label - which helps you easily identify if they've been used or tampered with - nice little touch. They worked perfectly fine on a build I was swapping about with a Corsair PSU (they're just extensions so I had no reason to think they wouldn't work) and as it's a little old, I've left them in situ to make it easier should the PSU die.If you need longer 8pin Power cables, these will fit the bill just fine.

Great!
Another good product from cable matters, well made and do exactly what they are supposed to do. If you have a nice big airy case then the standard cables with your hardware might not fit the bill but with these in your spares box you'll have no issues extending and making things look neat and tidy.

Ideal for neater routing of cables in a larger case
My case is nice and large, sometimes a little too large. These little extensions are handy for tidying up the slightly too tight routing path I had to take with the CPU power cables. Quality is good with well made connectors.

Fine pair of CPU extension cables
A high-quality twin pack from Cable Matters, made in the USA. Well-presented in a plastic pouch, unfussy and highly functional. I had no problems fitting one to my system's existing cable, plus it's great to have a spare if ever needed. I can't fault them.Highly recommended—5/5 stars

Nicely made
This is a 2 pack of 8 pin EPS CPU power extension cables (the ones that go at the top of the main board), these are necessary for larger cases, where the power supply may be a bit further away than the power supply cables allow. Using an extension is preferable to stretching a cable as that puts stress on the main board connector and the cabling, it also allows for optimum routing of the cables, making the machine neater and improving airflow. Each cable is 25cm / 10 inches longThe construction is consistent of other CableMatters products that I've reviewed before -- being of a good quality and reasonable price. The cables are protected in nylon braid and each end of the braid is prevented from fraying with a piece of heat shrink tubing. The cables have an outer diameter of 2mm and there are 4 x yellow (12V) cables and 4 x black ground cables. The extension end also has two mounting clips that allow it to be seated in the case, assuming a suitable rectangular hole is present in the case.

Great quality
I've had some very cheap cables from other brands previously and I really wasn't happy with the quality, but these are worlds apart from those. Ok it's just a cable but I think it's worth getting these over the really cheap alternatives. They seem to be made by a company who actually cares about the quality of their products and although it's early days yet, I've so far experienced zero issues with them. I therefore thoroughly recommend them. I've only used one of the 2 in the pack, but they are both identical.

Cable Matters does it again
I really like Cable Matters' stuff. It's always well designed and well made. And these are no exception. There is nothing more frustrating when building a computer than a cable that won't quite reach. You can huff and puff, but you're ultimately stuck unless you've got an extension like this. Don't go cheap on this sort of stuff or you might regret it. Spend a little bit more and be sure you've got something effective.
