Currently, my birds seem to think that the Death Star has arrived, and are keeping well away from it.(Edit: My birds have now commenced shredding the Death Star, which I removed from their cage and hung from the ceiling, and it promises to provide a lot of enjoyment, especially since it is larger then them.)Apart from that... it's overall a good idea, with lots of shredding potential. However, for smaller birds, I am not sure that the bar and bell on the bottom are useful for anything except attaching the metal hook in, since they make it more difficult to access the shredding ball. (They also make it scarier!) Therefore, I removed everything except the actual shredding ball and hung the ball up with twine (since that required taking off the metal hook).Note that it is also a rather large shredding ball, aka Planet of Doom. So this might be intimidating to some birds and a smaller shredding ball might be more appealing to them.

Sometimes what you see on the pic doesnt look like what you receive.Its ok but very flimsy and I cant see it lasting long although my conure is terrified of it right now.
