Guyver - The Bioboosted Armor Collection [2005] [2009]

One thing I gotta say about this series is WOW! I remember owning the original series and I must say that this remake does it justice.The animation is good and the storyline delves deeper into the world of Guyver.The dvd can be expensive seeing as its on 7 discs but if you manage to find it at a low price buy it! Dont umm and errr about it, click the add to basket button and purchase this series.A fantastic addition to any anime collection

Really good anime sci fi series that goes further in the story then the original Guyver Bio Booster Armour anime series. Getting all volumes 1-7 in a really good collection so its worth it in the collected edition. One good anime series with Sci fi & fantasy creatures & human drama.

About 17 Years ago I bought the first two dvd's containing episodes 1-6 of the original OVA-series at a local toyshop.The jewelcases were marked Parental Guidance 6+,which was,of course,a total mishap.It should at least have been marked as 15+,since the many violent acts the serie contains.[Toring limbs apart,putting out eyes,decapitation,watch the original OVA and you know what I'm trying to explain].Maybe that's why season two was never realeased on dvd in the Netherlands.Because of too many compaints of bothered parents who bought them as a gift for their children in the first place,not knowing how violent it would be.I was happy to be able to buy this series.Love the concept of a normal schoolboy who becomes a kind of superherounintentionally,and has to face the sinister Cronos-organisation,trying to dominate the world.Sad is that the anime does not show the complete story of the manga.Nevertheless,so didn't the original OVA,which only consisted of twelve episodes,following the story from the manga up to chapter 12.[First two seasons]This series consists of 26 episodes,covering the manga up til chapter 26.But alas,that's not the end of the series,so it has somewhat uncertain,thus happy ending,in wich Sho is united with his girlfriend Mizuki.I can only guess that theirtroubles with Cronos are far from over.[I never read the Manga,maybe I will as soon as I'm able to buy it.Nevertheless a great series,wich I can recommend.

I've saw the old ones on youtube and they're ok. But the new ones are really great. Great art design, lot of action and a good mixed 5.1 sound makes this SciFi Anime worth to own. Buuuuuut.... Attention: The Guyver is really a bloody Anime. dumbs up! :D

Das Wort "Complete" ist hierbei besonders zu beachten, denn diese Komplett-Box ist nicht auf Deutsch.Die Sprachen, die enthalten sind, sind lediglich Englisch und Japanisch, samt Englischem Untertitel.Ärgerlich ist, dass dies nicht als Produktbeschreibung beigefügt ist.Für Sammler wie mich, ist das nicht so schlimm. Jedoch für Leute, die sich darauf freuen, den Anime günstigauf Deutsch ansehen zu können, eine Enttäuschung.Die Angabe, zumindest dieses Details, würde ich mir bei diesem Artikel wünschen.Der Anime ist meiner Meinung nach klasse. Aber Meinungen sind ja verschieden.Durch die fehlende Sprachangabe bei dem Artikel, fehlt für mich leider der 5. Stern.Ansonsten Daumen hoch.
