My new EDC
Quality! Love this knife. EDC for sure. Scales felt a little narrow in the hand at first but have come to appreciate the less bulky handle. Great design and style. Another fantastic Esee tool.

Good Knife, Poor Sheath (My opinion only)
The knife is a great size for daily carry and is very ergonomic. It also looks very nice. I do not like struggling to pull a knife out. I wear them the side opposite of my handgun. If I have someone fighting to pull my firearm from its holster, I have at least one hand retaining the weapon, and at the same time, I am going for my knife. I don't want to think about the retention of the blade, and I surely do not want the sheath to come with it as I draw it (this happened). I have shaved and sanded the plastic that retains it down quite a bit and it draws much better now and still clips in to be held in the sheath. If all you are going to do with it is camping and fishing, it would not be bad as it is. My only other issue is the sharpness. It was sharp but had a very rough burr and wavy edge.Follow up. I have carried the knife for over a month every day. My initial impression has changed. I had only one issue and it was my fault... I did not Loctite the belt clip screws when I installed the belt clip. This caused me to lose one of the screws as it worked its way loose. I resolved this by adding Loctite 272 to all screws.Originally, I said the sheath had an issue drawing until modified. The knife does lock in hard and takes a while to get used to drawing. I now like it. It is more secure than most of my other knives and is now the only one I carry (other than a Leatherman). As this is a defensive carry knife, it has remained sharp and keeps a good edge. Other than the burred edge when I bought it, there have been no issues. I have it clipped to my daily carry gun belt, and it has not pulled the sheath away since the first time I had an issue. Just practice drawing it and you may like it.

There are better knives for the money
This is a great little knife and awesome warranty however, there are better knives for the money, I bought this knife as a back up for my Esse 6 brk which I love as a bush-craft knife but this knife is heavy compared to the Morakniv companion I paid like 15 dollars for. The Morakniv companion is the one I still take as my backup. Its more comfortable in my hand and much lighter
