Skippering a Small Keelboat: Skills from the Masters: Modern Lessons From the Fastest-Growing Global Sailing Education and Certification Program

I have been taking sailing courses from a sailing club in my area. They use NauticEd as part of their curriculum. This book is written by the founder of NauticEd and covers a lot of the information that you can get through the course as well as additional information. I found the book to be an excellent study companion. The book is easy enough for a beginner like me to pick up although there are some things where a basic sailing knowledge is assumed. If you are serious about learning to sail then I do think this book is a must!

Simly a very enjoyable read. Basic's of sailing covered well and excellent content for a beginner or anyone looking for a review. Excellent diagrams. Good job by the author.

THIS IS AN AMAZING book!! Not only does it describe everything one should know about sailing a small boat, but it includes QR codes that, when scanned, show even more. Also there are educational tests that you can use to rate your understanding and guide your progress. I just love this book!

I'm a newbee. The integration of text and Internet is a must for visual learners even though the text pictures are excellent in and of themselves. Having taken a hands on 5 day training program out of Victoria BC on a 40 foot yacht, this book has been a better teacher for sailing my 16 foot Compac . Well done.

Small book with great teaching quality. For newbies and rusty sailors. great for quick reference. Now that you have the basic knowledge from this little gem Enroll in NauticEd's online courses and challenge your commitment,I did and very glad I did.
