what is the word momnes on page 20? A typo?
This word "momnes" is not in the footnotes or glossary. I can't find a useful translation of it on line

Comprehensible for beginners!!!
I started studying Latin (just on my own) around Mother’s Day as a result of the pandemic. And I am so appreciative of these novellas!!! (This is my second one by this author). I am amazed by how great the stories are with just a limited vocabulary! Can’t wait to get into the next one!!!

and it's a nice confidence-building read for them during independent reading time
The book is so well-done. It's suitable for students in their first year of Latin, and it's a nice confidence-building read for them during independent reading time. There's a glossary in the back, so it's no big deal if there are a few words you haven't taught. The story is interesting and the pictures are GREAT. I teach 7th grade, and it's the most popular book on my reading shelf.

Simple Rapid Reading Latin
I appreciated this little Latin reader for kids. I have studied grammar and vocabulary, but this book is the kind of rewarding story that gives practice and drills in some of the common phrases, terms, and elementary constructions. Many children learn English reading by going over a book again and again until it is practically memorized. This is that type of book in Latin. The stories of the Gods, Titans, and Beginnings according to Greek mythology are retold in simple Latin by various speakers and the absurdity of the stories related with comic effect. There is a whole series from the author, and I look forward to reading more (once I have memorized this one!).
