The book has good quality clear drawings and photos. I found it a very useful reference for the myford super 7 with helpful chapters on all aspects of its use. I'm very pleased with the book

On the whole a really good book, which I would recommend to any "Series 7" Owner. Great information with clear pictures and easy to read data tables. However, if you wish for more technical information, i.e. you're rebuilding one rather than trying to use the lathe to its full potential, look for the manual available direct from Myford.

Excellent book, which details the myriad of extras that were available to these extremely popular lathes as well as giving the new owner a comprehensive guide to the anatomy of the lathe. It is not a guide to turning, though naturally some details of speeds and such are present, rather a companion guide specific only to the lathe in question, and the many tools (that were) available for it. Make sure you get the revised edition, if you have a later lathe such as a super 7 or ML7R.

A great little book, particularly for the early user of the Myford lathe. Deals extensively with both making accessories and the fitment and use of genuine Myford accessories. Large section on screwcutting. Mainly on the use of the lathe rather than lubrication and dismantling the lathe, but this is also covered. All books by Ian Bradley give good clear and concise advice to budding engineers.

Everyone with a Series 7 Myford, needs one of these books.
