Spigen Rugged Armor Pro Designed for Apple Watch Band with Case for 42mm Series 3/2/1/Original (2015) - Black

I purchased this band February 2020 and as of today August 11, 2024 it finally tore on me. Crazy how long this band lasted. Additionally by Apple Watch was also purchased in 2019 and has had this case on the entire time since and have never had issues with my watch! I used it 5 days a week and put it through all types of hell and back! Great great item, highly recommend! Just bought another👏🏽

Awesome watch band and great quality, especially for the price

Works well and fits well with the Series 3 42mm. The cutouts match up perfectly! This works very well with the Spigen silicone stand that’s under $10. It’s a nice combo to have for everyday use and on the nightstand! The crown and the side button are easy to reach and use. The crown is surrounded by the body of the case while the button has a covering and has a slight gap around it, making pressing the button easier than a fully molded button cover. The case and strap are made of the same material and Spigen refers to it as ‘Hybrid Polymer’. It has a slight ‘plasticky’ feel but is comfortably smooth and not overly grippy on your skin, allowing you to shift the watch around on your wrist without it sticking. The back of the watch is fully exposed and the case is almost fully flush with the sensors, where it will not cause any discomfort. The straps have small air pockets on the corners of the band ‘hinge’ providing some moisture wicking. This unit is of one-piece construction and feels akin to a GShock but much lighter as a whole package with an Apple Watch installed. The band is a little on the wide side and is squared off with a slight taper on the end like with most watch bands, making it easy to slip through the retention ring. The buckle is made of a smooth polymer, not metal or aluminum and feels sturdy enough to hold up over repeated use. This unit as a whole feels sturdy and provides great protection from everyday bumps on the sides, while the case around the watch keeps the watch secure. The strap may be a little short for some with larger wrists and cause some worry of the strap coming out from the retention ring after the buckle. Highly recommended!

I had a bad experience with an early Apple Watch falling apart on me (the screens were known to pop off of many, for no apparent reason other than poor manufacturing, despite the hefty price tag!). So, I purchased this band as a means of protecting the watch that I used mainly for workouts. This Spigen product is a good-looking, comfortable band, and I would recommend it. It lasted a little over two years before it started breaking apart; it's made of plastic and rubber, of course, so deterioration is to be expected. I am pleased that it did a great job of protecting my older Apple Watch.

Works great

I previously purchased this band for my Apple Watch. It is very durable. Eventually (about 2 years) the band broke. I am rough on watches and bands. I was very pleased with this band. I ordered the same band to replace the broken one. I reluctantly placed the actual Apple band on the watch while waiting for the ordered replacement. When the new band arrived I was excited to have my band back. Once I placed it on my wrist I immediately disliked the stiffness. The Apple band is so much more comfortable. I returned this band. It is rugged, but I never realized how stiff it is. The Apple band sat in a box for 4 years! Who knew?

Durability is excellent. I wore this band for three years before writing this review. I wore the band in all types of activities from exercising to banging it around the engine compartment and cockpit of helicopters, to working on cars and yard work. My watch is my EDC and I needed a band that would keep up and protect the watch. I just ordered my second band and the only reason I’m replacing it is because the small loop that holds the extra “tail” of the band, broke. That’s it. After three years of daily use that little band gave out. I definitely got my $20 worth and am looking forward to another three years with a new one.

El producto llegó en tiempo y de la mejor manera. Se ajusta fácil y es muy cómodo de usar. De materiales resistentes, el único detalle es que si se ocupa para hacer ejercicio intenso o bajo lluvia es recomendable secarlo bien antes del siguiente uso.

Second one i own, good quality. Last one lasted two-three years.

El artículo me gusta , y de hecho es la segunda vez que lo compro….(el viejo es el de la izquierda).pero en el envío del nuevo artículo me han mandado un color indeterminado….gris verdoso con tonos rojizos…(el de la derecha de la foto) habiendo pedido en color negro…..por eso lo devuelvo,no porque no estuviera satisfecho con el artículo.
