Lovely gift for a new baby, the rattle is very well made and feels smooth and safe for little hands. My friend was delighted with this gift.

The 'handle' on these is a lovely smooth wood, with one side shaped to give an easy grip which is comfy even in an adult hand.The ribbons (which are bright pastels on one side and white on the other) are securely fastened to the handle, and the bells very securely fastened to the ribbons where they wrap around the handle.The bells jingle when the rattle is shaken, but not overly loudly (I assume the inner piece isn't much smaller than the outer shell) and even my Mother says it's not loud enough to bother her with both being shaken at the same time.We can see these being used as a musical instrument / cheer leader type of device for several years after the teething stage ends - subject to the ribbons still be in a reasonable condition.At £5.99 I think these are a great item for a youngster, and would make a lovely gift.

The media could not be loaded. I like the idea, the use of wood and the ribbons. Little hands can easily grasp the wooden cloud and the ribbons. Sound is also a fantastic idea to catch a little one's attention, and noise always brings a child joy. This sensory toy allows for the use of three senses: touch, hear and taste (as it is going to end up in the mouth)However, I have some concerns about the bells and safety. The bells are attached with a simple loop of the ribbon, but they are only 1cm in size, making them very small. My concern is if a child pulls the ribbon too hard, the ribbon will snap and the bell will come off. The listing recommends that this is suitable for ages 3-24 months. While your child is young (and not able to use a lot of strength (3 - 9/10 months) the toy is going to be safe, but I wouldn't allow use without supervision because of the potential swallowing risk.At the time of reviewing these were £5.99 (£3 per item). You can't buy the materials to make this for £3 so it is very cost-effective.

These are a really nice quality sensory toy with bells and interesting coloured ribbons. Our baby enjoyed shaking them, chewing the wood and playing with the ribbons. I found these better than many of the other versions out there as the ribbons are shorter and slightly thicker so they didn't get as tangled as easily.

These are good as sensory toys, I work with autistic children and some liked these. They’re made of wood but are smooth, they’re easy to hold and the ribbons are soft. The bells are small but seem firmly attached. I thought they’d be bigger than they are but they are fine for little hands to hold.

I always wanted these and actually happy the ribbon is relatively short so nonrosj of wrapping around their neck. As another reviewer pointed out, slightly worried about the bells. They do look safely secured onto the sensory toy but I still would not recommend playing unattended due to choking risk. Other than that it is beautiful and made with high quality material

These Rainbow Ribbons Rattle Toys are so pretty and a lovely sensory toy for babies and children.There are two rainbow rattles included in the set and they are each made from a wooden cloud with small bells and some light coloured rainbow ribbons. These are great for sensory play and they look great too.The bells have a lovely gentle ring to them which is nice to listen to and the ribbons move well too.These rattles are adorable and whilst I wouldn't leave them alone with babies I would recommend them as they're so cute and a lovely toy.
