I purchased this to use on a Marin Bolinas Ridge mountain bike 17 inch frame 2012 model for use while riding to work. The mudguard attaches to the frame in two places, one via a plastic clip which fits onto the base of the downtube of the frame and (supposedly) via an L shaped metal bracket which slips into a groove on the top of the mudguard, allowing this to be bolted onto the frame.However, after assembly, there was a 6 inch gap between the bracket and the attachment point to the frame.This is obviously not designed to fit my bike, and as my bike is a pretty standard mountain bike in terms of dimensions, I can't see it fitting any other bike either.The manufacturer needs to specify what bikes this is designed to fit and offer brackets of different lengths. Simple , Easy to fit back mudguard to a specialized rockhopper - I'm very happy in rain now it's on!
