Wonderful!
This is exactly what I needed! And everything was included all in one kit! And the price was absolutely amazing compared to others that I've seen. Installation easy! Looks like they are built well and will function great

Successful Upgrade for an Older RV
I'm giving it 4 stars, but only after just one camping trip. I replaced a freedom combi unit, only because the old inverter/charger was of the 2001 vintage, before there was such a thing as LiFePO4 batteries, and I wanted the advantage of the extended amp-hours these new lithium based batteries could give. It was cold where we camped, just above freezing, so the furnace ran hard all night long. With the old "golf-cart" batteries, I don't think we'd have made it through the night without starting the generator like others camped with us did. My morning voltage with the new batteries was stronger than it used to be with the old batteries fully charged. This inverter/charger made that possible. Some of the features, such as true sign wave output were also appreciated, although I had not issues running my laptop and TV off the old inverter, which put out a pseudo-sign wave. One major difference between the old system and the new, is that the old unit would power up automatically when the RV was plugged in to shore power or the generator was started. This one does not, so it needs to be switched on in order to get it to charge the batteries. I am making up an adapter to go onto the remote's CAT6 cable to remedy that. I've identified which two of the eight wires are used for the remote's switch and I'm adding an external 120 volt AC coil relay in parallel with the remote's switch to power on the inverter/charger whenever AC is present on the AC input terminals. This would have been a simple circuit that the manufacturer could have included. I would have given it 5 stars if they had.All in all, it powered my microwave just fine, as long as the TV and my wife's hair drier over the 4 night camping trip we did.As far as the install, all went well. I was missing one ground screw out of the AC terminal strip, and the box over that strip is entirely too small. Made me feel a little awkward as a licensed electrician. It has a larger footprint than my old inverter, so I needed to get creative with the mounting, something others need to pay attention to if they are considering replacing an older system. I also had to purchase a bunch of high-amp DC cables to connect the batteries and the inverter/charger. Another part of my project was a DC-to-DC charger so I could properly charge my new batteries from the engine. I needed to locate where the RV manufacturer put in the equivalent to a voltage relay and defeat that so the DC-to-DC charger would not just get shunted out. Another feature that would have been nice would have been if the the inverter-charger had a DC input lugs so it could double as a DC-to-DC charger when the engine is running, but that would be a lot to ask for the price this unit sells for.

Good for self-built camper trailer
Put this in our solar setup for a self-built camper trailer. Works like a charm, and the remote control panel is super convenient. We were able to hide all the wires and just have the panel visible.

Top Quality Portable Sine Wave Inverter for Offgrid RV's or a Tiny House
This Sine Wave Inverter was ordered for our off-grid tiny home power system. It is one of the easiest to hook up, and the large LED screen makes it easy to read power levels and battery usage. The included wiring gives you options to mount the system components. It works great and we recommend it.
