Quality juicer!
There's a lot I like about this Fretta juicer. Firstly, it looks great, so I'm happy to leave it out on the counter ready to produce another tasty batch of fresh juice. Although made mainly of plastic, it seems generally well made and looks expensive. Size-wise, it's not the smallest of appliances but isn't overly large or dominating to be bothersome to me.In terms of functionality, it works really well and extracts loads of juice from whatever I throw at it. I've used lots of oranges, which it handles brilliantly on "soft" mode and leaves barely any juice left in them. I've also used lots of harder fruits and veg like apples and carrots and it deals with these well too. The harder items can cause it to struggle if overloaded, but I particularly like that if it struggles too much or jams, it automatically stops and reverses to clear itself. It's pretty easy to dismantle and clean. Like any juicer, the downside is the amount of cleaning required afterwards, but this is relatively easy to take apart, wash, and slot back together when dry.Overall, I'm very impressed and looking forward to experimenting and making lots more healthy beverages!

Works well and is easy to clean
Comes in a retail box with a cleaning brush and instructions. This juicer works really well, its quite a large solid and heavy device with a pretty quiet operation and produces a nice result.I mainly using it for soft fruits currently as im not into vegetable juices but i maybe tempted at some point. You have 2 main settings, soft and hard which are for soft items like oranges and hard like carrotsThe first smaller container collects the juice filtered through a stainless steel mesh that allows a certian amount of fibre through and the rest of the mash is excreted from the end section into the larger container and in my few uses so far there is barely any moisture left in the mash which means its doing a good job of squeezing pretty much every drop of juice out of the fruit ive used. For example 4 average sized peeled oranges produces about 300ml of juice. The other settings are off to stop the juicing and reverse which i guess is mainly for harder items.Cleaning is pretty simple with the main plastic sections being easy to take apart and wash and while they are plastic its triton plastic which is hard wearing and bpa free but its still plastic unfortunately.and while triton plastic is supposedly dishwasher safe there is no mention of this in the instruction booklet and only a warning not to use hot water above 80c so i guess this is hand wash only.Im not sure i would put fruits in unpeeled and un-chopped like the product images show with apples and oranges for example due to the bitter orange skin but i guess apples would be fine if they were chopped and cored and the instructions do say to remove pips and cores so why the product images show that is a bit of a mystery. The price at the time of ordering was a pretty steep £199.99 but with a £40 voucher its a little bit more acceptable and this does look and feel good quality.

Excellent replacement juicer!
I’ve been using the Fretta Masticating Slow Juicer for about a month now and overall, I’m pretty impressed with its performance. The wide 75mm feed chute is a great feature, as it saves me a lot of prep time, I can fit larger pieces of fruits and vegetables without having to chop everything into small pieces. The dual speed mode is also handy, allowing me to juice both softer fruits and tougher veggies like celery with ease. The juicer itself is relatively quiet, especially compared to centrifugal models I’ve used in the past and the cold press method seems to extract more juice with less foam, which is great for maintaining the nutrients. The pulp comes out dry, which shows it’s extracting a good amount of juice. One of the things I love is how easy it is to clean. The self-feeding feature works well, and the parts are simple to take apart and rinse, though the fine filter can require a little extra attention. All the parts are BPA-free, which is reassuring for safety. The motor feels powerful and hasn’t struggled with anything I’ve put through it. The sleek silver design looks nice on my counter, too.The price point is about right, this is good enough to warrant a bit more spend, if you're looking for a quality juicer. If I had to point out a minor downside, it’s that the juicer is a bit bulky, so if you have limited counter space, it might take up more room than expected. But for the performance it delivers, this isn’t a huge issue.Pros:Wide feed chute reduces prep timeDual speed mode for versatilityQuiet operation and excellent juice yieldEasy to clean and BPA-free partsPowerful motor for tough ingredientsCons:Slightly bulky, takes up spaceFine filter can take a bit more time to cleanOverall, it’s a solid juicer that does exactly what it promises. If you’re into daily juicing and want a reliable, easy-to-use machine, this is a great choice!
