I got these earbuds as I thought they were wireless. I need to read better as it plainly stated in the description that a cord was needed to be purchased separately. That said, once I got the cable, I had to have hubby snap the earbuds onto the cord. They fit tightly and there is no fear they will come apart unless you want to get a new cord/earbuds. They simply snap together. The earbuds are clear so you can see the parts that make them work. Four pair of covers are provided with one being already on the earbuds. They fit well in my ear and will work great for listening to music or my audio books.

I was expecting an overall decent pair of IEMs but I was mistaken. I liked the shape and fit of them but the sound quality, the part that matters most, is not good. The bass is a bit blown out, the vocals are recessed and slightly muffled. After playing my standard test songs I found myself a little worn after listening to these only after 2 songs.

These IEM have a great reputation in the budget audiophile community and I couldn't agree more. These compare to or beat every sub-$100 pair of headphone's I've had. Clear sound and great soundstage.My only complaint (and a common complaint) is the bass is slightly pronounced. It's not a big deal as is can be very easily EQ'd out. It's also a clean bass (not the rumbly kind you get from main-stream brands) so it's not necessarily unpleasant.

These sound really bad compared to the previous version: vocals are muffled and everything is very muddy. I would recommend staying away.
