This looks like a great kit to build with my 8yr old great granddaughter. She was asking me a lot of questions about robots while we were on the way to town the other day so I bought this as a starter kit to get her on her way into robotics. Now the fun begins!This was a replacement for the first one I received. The first one looked like it may have been a customer return. It was in a plastic bag, not in a box and the instruction booklet and some of the main parts were missing. Amazon Customer Service automatically reordered the item and sent information to send the original defective item back at no charge. I'm satisfied the the outcome.

There are so many tiny pieces, and feels flimsy. Vague directions for such a lot of pieces. Not suitable for anyone under 8. It’s going to require a lot of time.
