Pretty nice spotlight, though lacking in some build quality and refinement
This is a pretty nice little kit for the money and offers some neat little features with a few inconveniences. First off, it feels pretty solid and is fairly tiny. The bowens mount is solid metal and locks into the light securely. It has 4 shutters that are pretty easy to use for shaping/cutting light and a built in magnetic tray that holds the included gobos and can switch between the gobo and clear frame very easily. This tray is both a plus and a minus, as it makes switching back and forth as easy as pushing the tray in from one side or the other, but this also means you always have the other side just sticking out from the light, which is a little annoying at times. There are 25 included gobos with a nice variety of patterns as well as 4 colored gels (with holder). The spotlight head is a fixed 37° (you can't swap it out for another angle). The focusing mechanism is a ring on the front that you turn to sharpen/blur the shadow. I'm not a big fan of this, as it takes a lot of spinning to go from one to the other and vastly prefer the type where I can loosen one screw handle and slide the spotlight in and out quickly to find the level of sharpness I want.Everything operates fairly well (spotlights are always a little on the clunky side) and feels solid enough, especially considering the affordable price of this. Just keep in mind you're going to be limited to lower wattage LED sources with a unit this small. I would also have liked to seen a some sort of carrying case since this is such an awkward shape with the 4 shutter leaf handles sticking out in all directions and the filter tray holder sticking out one side or the other. Of course, that would add cost, so keeping the current $168 price point in mind, I can see why they didn't include something like that.Overall, this is a pretty handy little unit, if a bit limited and cumbersome, but manages to deliver a pretty good value. I've already been putting it to use in my product photography for these reviews as you can see from a couple of my photos. While it won't replace a full size (and much more expensive) LEKO style spotlight, it's not meant to. So keep your expectations in check with what it's designed to do and I think you'll be pretty happy with it.

Useful but expensive
I recently got a Sony a9iii and I’ve been getting into shooting with different lighting techniques. Normally I like to just use natural light. Mainly because I’m lazy and don’t like over complicating things. I don’t enjoy photography if the setup is too complicated. The Sony, with its global shutter, makes shooting with light fun though. I like this projector system, but I personally think it is overpriced for what it is. Maybe look for a coupon before buying it.

Great kit
I have used optical snoots for a couple of years now, but none of them came as loaded in. Kit form as this one. This kit gives you a ton of gobos, gels, and does not require you to purchase lenses separately in order to get started. It has the blades installed on it which allows you to Freeform your light. The blinds, heart and slit gobos are my favorites to use. All of the gobos have a nice solid metal construction that will last for years. The snoot fits majority of my strobes and LED lights for a wide range of options. If you are interested in getting into optical snoots, then this is actually a great budget option with quality features.

Cookie tray & internal cutoff blades are features other snoots don't have.
Of the three optical snoots with Bowens mounts I own, this is definitely the best of the bunch. It has the most features and the most convenient method for changing the cookies. The only thing it doesn't have is an iris that can reduce the size of the round circle of light coming out of it.One feature that this snoot has that my others don't are four built-in adjustable blades that allow me to cut the light into any odd shape I wish. The other great feature is the method by which the cookies are inserted. In other snoots, you must insert them into a holder and then slide that single holder into a slot on the edge of the snoot. If you want to change cookies, you must remove the holder; remove the cookie; place another cookie in the holder and reinsert it into the snoot. On this snoot there is a tray permanently attached to the snoot that slides back and forth. The tray holds two cookies that are held in by magnetism. When one cookie is in the snoots light path, the other one is sticking outside the unit where you can easily remove the previous cookie and quickly set in another one. As soon as you're ready to use the second cookie, just slide the cookie tray to the other side of the snoot. Clever (but not new) solution to changing images. The light focuses very sharply and the cookies themselves are all sharply cut into the metal cookie discs. All in all a great product.

Lots of options for setting up your scene
The optical projector snoot kit is a solid and compact option for filming as well as photography with convenient features like adjustable shutters and magnetic tray for gobos. It offers 25 gobos, 4 colored gels, and a fixed 37° spotlight head which gives me lots of different options when setting up a scene. The focusing mechanism needs manual adjustment, but is reflected in the affordable price. Overall, it is a great product with sharp focus and well-cut cookies. Perfect for a small home or small business studio!

Great optical Projector/Snoot
This optical projector snoot is awesome! It works great with my Neewer LED photography light and includes loads of accessories. The controls and adjustments are intuitive and smooth. This is a great projector unit at this price point.
