Poorly cut with rough edges that would scratch your worktop or cut hands, avoid....

This chopping board although neat, marked easier than I thought it would.

When I saw this Stainless steel chopping board I envisioned that it would be a few mm thick with nicely rounded edges, which after all is what is shown in the advert photos.Obviously alarm bells should have rung from the description, given it says Titanium Cutting Board, when it is just steel, I'm not even convinced it is stainless steel at that.However on receiving this it is in fact simply a sheet of 1mm thick steel plate that has been roughly machine cut into the shape of a chopping board. The edges are razor sharp, so sharp in fact that I am not even going to try and peel the protective layer off, which is stuck to it like glue, as the risk of injury is so high on the edges. The hand punch out is the same with extremely sharp edges.If you were working with this kind of steel in a workshop you would be wearing gloves at all times, so this is most definitely not suitable for a kitchen with adults, let alone children.This is a dangerous and misleading item, which you should avoid at all costs.

Why are sellers getting away with so much misleading/dishonesty? This cutting board is not "titanium" it's stainless steel.This comes with protective film on both sides, which was a nightmare to remove as it kept tearing. It looks good and is nice to cut on but the edges are quite rough and sharp in places so it needs to be handled with care. When in use it tends to move on the counter top, so a damp cloth underneath it helps. Very easy to clean as stuff doesn't seem to stick, which is great, and dries in no time. While I do like it, improvements are needed, both in the product and listing.
