Quick Cold Brew... Yes Please!
I love cold brew. I hate brewing cold brew. Most cold brews that I make at home take at least 24 hours to steep and that means I have to remember to get it going in advance of needing it. They take up precious room in my fridge and really just led to me buying tons of Stok each week at the grocery. Then I found this machine... OH MY GOODNESS it's a life changer. It takes about 20 minutes from start to finish and I've got my Stok bottle refilled and stored in the fridge with fresh (Starbucks) cold brewed coffee. I love that I can just set it and forget it and come back it's done. It's as easy to clean as any drop coffee maker, it's not too noisy (it's not quiet) and you can even store the carafe in the fridge directly after brewing. If you like cold brew or iced coffee, do not wait to buy this. Order it now! You won't regret it!For drink out of the carafe cold brew my favorite way to do it is: 1.5 cups of ground coffee, 1250ml of water, 11 minute cycle. It's nearly perfect and full of flavor. My barista daughter and I spent some time trying to figure out that correct combo and settled on this after some trial and error.

New favorite kitchen appliance!
Ok, so I love coffee, and drink it daily, but have never liked trying to make cold or iced coffee at home. It is never the same as when someone else makes it in an actual coffee shop. I also thought cold brew was super complicated because once a coffee shop runs out during the day, it isn't available until the next opening day. So, I was skeptical about investing in a cold brew maker. I had researched a few brands, but was intimidated. Instead, I got surprised with this one as a gift, and I am so glad! This is awesome!!! It is soooooooooooo easy to use and make! You can use your favorite coffee grounds. Nothing special you have to buy outside of what you already love. Also, instead of having to wait overnight for the brew, it is super fast and makes in just a few minutes, and you can save the brew for a few days in the fridge without it going bad! That is the bonus. I make excess and just save it so as I'm heading out the door, I pour some in my tumbler and go. The clean up is easy. Unlike some other machines I have had with multiple tubes and caps, this one is minimal and everything can be washed easily. I highly suggest trying this brand if you love cold brew and were uncertain about what to buy. Well worth it!!!!!!!!

Dash is better than Cuisinart
This cold brewer is amazing! I originally purchased the Cuisinart DCB-10 Automatic Cold Brew Coffeemaker, but the results from that brewer were awful. The coffee was cloudy, light, watery, and filled with grinds. I returned it and purchased this brewer. I am so glad I did! The brew from the Dash brewer was so clear, dark, and pure. I was honeslty really surprised that all it took was 15 minutes. The Cuisinart brewer takes 45 to make its "bold" brew, but the brew was no where near as bold. If you're deciding between the two the Dash Brewer is definelty the one to go with!

Buy It, But Read My Suggestions First!
I have had my cold brew maker for about six weeks now, so I am ready to write an honest review.First of all, I love it and do not regret buying it. But this product is definitely a learning curve! I think *they* even changed their mind, because deep cleaning instructions that are in the printed manual (and did not work for me) are not in the online manual. The manual is not very helpful. It is way more of a recipe book and it’s pretty, but it doesn’t give a lot of useful information.I was having very spotty luck- my cold brew was coming out the color of iced tea, even with the maximum amount of time and coffee, and minimum amount of water. Thankfully, I found the cold brew Reddit, and they suggested two things that went *against* the instructions in the manual: Only put about a cup and a half of coffee in, because the designers didn’t think about how the grounds expand with water; and to turn the carafe to the open position while brewing.I actually only use a little over a cup of coffee at a time, but having the carafe lid open changed my brew to a dark, rich, yummy concentrate. Also note: The lid on the coffee part must be screwed on tightly. If you accidentally leave it loose or it’s off kilter, you’ll have water all over the counter and floor. My only real complaint is the design of some of the parts. The lid of the coffee filter, that clicks into place, is so wide, and it just wants to click from side to side. You have to get it in the middle to get it open. I can see someone with arthritis having real issues. This is very frustrating when you just want COFFEE- and it could be solved with a simple redesign. But worse is the carafe lid. My first one broke within a few days. They sent me a new carafe free of charge (register your product!). But pieces are very flimsy plastic, and the lid will only go on in one certain spot. Then when it’s full of water, the extra weight makes it hard to turn and hard to lift the lid on and off (again, you can only do so from ONE exact spot). The top of the carafe has only a half inch raised, smooth plastic circle, impossible to grip with wet hands. Again, a simple redesign- a little higher, with a ribbed texture, would make this so much better.I do recommend this product. But- make sure both pieces are firmly seated in the maker, and that you’ve followed my advice above. Maybe don’t leave it alone for a whole day. It is worth the headaches, compared to 12-24 hours of waiting!
