I have been journaling for years but recently moved my writing efforts from the computer to physical volumes. I have worked with a number of journals, and I selected this one for the page count. It's a good journal and I am very pleased with it.This is an A5-sized journal with 128 physical sheets (for a 256 single-sided page count).I like the paper used. It is heavier than regular notebook paper and it is line-ruled to help keep writing straight. I am particular about the paper because I do almost all of my writing with fountain pens, and I see a lot of issues with lower quality papers. These pages are solid enough to stand up to my fountain pen inks, minimizing ghosting and bleeding. The paper is also not blistering white but is instead an off-white which is easier on my eyes.The cover is a faux leather and provides a good amount of protection. I do like the tree ring pattern on it too - it makes this journal distinct from others I have used.Other good features include inside cover pockets for holding loose papers, a pen loop, and ribbon markers. Some journals have one or more of these, some have none. This one has all three. It is a bonus that it is available in several cover colors.I am pleased with this journal and will fill it up over time. It appears to be made well and it has some thoughtful features to it.

The faux leather bound journal contains 256 lines pages (128 sheets), each with a place to mark the day and date. I particularly like the fact that the book is designed to lay flat, making it easier to write hand on the "backs" of each page., The elastic closure design helps protect the paper edges and a small external loop provides a place to attach a pen. There are two ribbon bookmarks inside so that you can mark an important page and still keep track of the next page for entries. The the pocket on the inside of the back cover expands to hold notes, receipts, etc. The A5 size (5.7 x 8.3 inch) is to me the most convenient for carrying while being large enough to make entries easy. The beige color of the paper is easy on the eyes.I gave 4 stars for two reasons: I would like the lines to be a bit narrower (or to have had the choice of line width). More significantly, the 100 gsm acid-free paper has a very nice texture on which to write, but it bleeds a bit when I use a fountain pen (which I usually do). With ball point pens and pencils there is no problem.In general the book is attractive and useful and well worth the price.

I was looking for a blank journal to use as a memory notebook. I was inspired to write down lists of all the things I was grateful for that I learned from loved ones who have passed. This tree ring imprinted journal was the perfect cover for such a treasured legacy to be recorded in. The cover is soft and interesting. The pages are of good quality. I work at a job where it is not required but it is highly suggested to keep daily notes of tasks assigned, the status of such tasks, and the completion. With it not being a requirement, my employer does not supply the journals for engineering staff. This is the perfect solution for me. It is designed for men, so no more journals with unicorns or puffy clouds that I try to hide with duct tape or photos. It is robust enough to keep at least a year's worth of data and notes. It also has 2 book marks included so you can mark the current day or the part of it where something important took place or was discussed. Overall, a great journal perfect for any man.

I really like this journal for many reasons. I got the brown color. The faux leather cover has a wood grain design that adds a classy and unique look. It has a pen holder and two ribbon page markers. It’s good sized with 256 sheets to write on. The paper is lined and thick enough so ink doesn’t bleed through. It also has an elastic strap which goes over the cover to keep it shut nice. I can’t recommend this journal enough if you’re looking for something that is functional and aesthetically pleasing. This would also make a really nice gift. I felt this was a great value for a journal with a robust look and feel and a lot of useful features.

I was drawn to the tree ring design of this journal. It's very pleasant and a good representation. The pages are college rule lined and include the day of the week designation on top with the date. It includes two ribbon bookmarks and a place to hold a pen. Very nice overall.

This is a very nice notebook which has a good quality cover and thick pages. It is a pleasure to write on. It has a date field at the top right of each page and a day of the week box on the top left of each page. Very satisfied.

I needed a new journal and this one seemed like a good option. It has plenty of pages, the cover feels like leather. There is a pattern similar to a tree trunk on the front, but not the back. It has a folder in the back to keep loose papers, a pen holder, 2 ribbon bookmarks, and an elastic band to keep it closed. The paper is not white, but that doesn't bother me. It's more of a cream color. There is a space at the top to indicate the date, as well as days of the week. I don't know that I'll use the days of the week feature, but definitely will use the date. With the number of pages, this journal will definitely last me a long time.
