It is just a matter of fixing the base on and plugging it in and you’re up and running. It is a very stylish fan, in black with touch controls on the top, these are power, swing, fan speed, timer and memory modes. The fan works great, it pumps out quite a bit of air, is quiet on the lower settings and doesn’t take up the room that a conventional fan does.In addition to this it can be controlled from an App, the downside, as with most Apps you must create an account and register before you can use it, I do not like this idea, but other than an email address and password it doesn’t require anything else. The App is easy to set up, it finds and connects to the fan very easily via Bluetooth and then you need to add your Wi-Fi connection details.The App adds a few additional functions such as more varied fan speeds, mode settings, scheduling, and a temperature indication, it can also be linked to Alexa or Google Assistant for voice control although I haven’t tried this yet as it seems to have difficulty setting up the skill on my Alexa device. There is a temperature sensor, but the instructions refer to an external add-on sensor too which it doesn’t come with, so I am not sure if the temperature displayed in the App is from the fan or my mobile device!I am quite impressed with this fan, it looks good, works well, quiet on its low settings, and doesn’t take up the floor space that conventional fans do.

The media could not be loaded. I love this tower fan. It is very powerful on the highest speed but amazingly quiet. On the lowest setting, which is the speed used when in night time mode, it is almost silent, even if it is right next to your ear.The fan can be operated without downloading the app and has three speeds controlled from the screen at the top. If the app is installed, there are eight speeds to choose from. The app just gives a few extra options but it is perfectly operational without. There is no remote control other than the app and it can be turned on and off from your device rather than having to physically go over to it to turn it off etc.App and WIFI connection is simple and was made on the first attempt.It arrived well-packaged and boxed and the base has to be put together. the instructions say to thread the plug and cord through the hole after the base has been put together but the UK plug doesn't fit. I had to assemble the base over the cord so it was already in the right place. Very easy to do. I am a bit disappointed with the length of the power cable which is only about 1.5m long. But apart from that, it is excellent.I love the look of it being plain black, tall and thin and the airflow is fabulous. I could feel it beautifully at the other end of the room. There is a recess in the back which forms a handle for easily moving the fan around and the whole thing is very well balanced. It is easy to pick up and move with just the one hand. The overall quality seems excellent but the best feature is undoubtedly the quiet operation. I paid a fortune for a Dyson fan and it is so noisy we hardly use it. Apart from the fact this one doesn't have an air purifier, it is far better than the Dyson. Love it!I most definitely recommend it.

This fan is amazing. It looks modern, doesnt make too much noise when on, and can easily link to alexa. you can fully control this fan with alexa, everything from fan speed to oscillating mode. even the auto modes are awesome, letting you customize the type of wind that you want.

The media could not be loaded. I've been after a fan like this for a while, and this fits the bill perfectly. Its not too noisy, and you can feel is right across the room. Its comes with a companion app, 8 speeds and 5 modes. Perfect for those hot summer nights. It is activated by touch controls on the top or via the app. I can't wait to use this in the summer! Would recommend.

I am a fan of Govee and can confidently say they are my go to brand when it comes to lights, so I was interested to try out some of Govees other products and this fan seemed a good place to start.Firstly it was packaged really well so arrived in pristine condition. Assembly consisted of simply attaching the base which is in two halves and simply clicks together so no tools are needed at all.As I have other Govee items I already have the Govee app on my phone and the tower fan was detected as soon as I turned it on. I was then able to control the tower fan from the app as well as the top panel.I also have Alexa devices and the fan was picked up by them pretty much straight away meaning I can control the fan using my voice by simply asking Alexa.Using the app you are able to choose from various modes including an auto mode where, once the tower fan is paired with a compatible Govee thermometer, you can set the fan to come on if the temperature reaches a certain level, very neat!One of the big advantages of the tower fan over a traditional fan, beside the smart control options, is the footprint is much smaller and there is no large fan head swinging around, this makes this tower fan more convenient in smaller spaces.My only criticism of the tower fan is the noise, there are 8 levels on the app and anything above level 1 is quite noticeable when it comes to noise, so much so that I don't think I could sleep through it above level 1.The louder levels are at least backed by the fans performance, it's not quite the gale force winds the product page may imply but it does move a good amount of air, which I'm sure on a hot day (we haven't had any since I received the fan) would keep you cool as a cucumber.Overall, another quality product from Govee with excellent smart controls and good performance, just a little louder than I would like on the higher level settings.
