Q: What is the weight capacity for this frame?

Significant other and I have a combined weight of over 500 lbs. The frame never even squeaks, no matter what we're doing.

Q: Can a head board be attached?

Yes, on our King Size the down legs have three horizantal slot's. We had no problem's mounting our very heavy King Size headboard. With use of Woodscrews/Bolt's, Flat Washer's & a Lock Washer per slot. The headboard which was on a Standard K.S. Frame mounted much better to this one. Stability is better (we use to have to place foam between the headboard & wall) based on the height of ours & most headboards are "Top Heavy". With the good build of this frame, I cannot imagine having any problem's in mounting any type of headboard to it. Each slot is just under 2 inches wide which allows you a bit of wiggle room. Just make sure that you place the slotted down legs at the head if the frame. Diagram for assembly is pretty basic, as is assembly of the frame.

Q: What is the maximum hight of an item I can place/store under it ?

15 to 15.5 inches depending on flooring ( hardwood or carpeting )

Q: What is the distance between each slat?

The slats are 8-inches, center to center, with one down the middle. We do not use box springs with our king size bed, and the mattress is well supported. I hope this helps!
