The "KZINO Valve Spring Compressor" is a solid option for valve spring replacement in your home garage. The tool comes in a solid plastic case and includes several diameter pushers to match various spring sizes. I used this on the top end of a 2021 X-pro 150cc Hawk (Viper) Chinese dirt bike. It made the rebuild much easier and safer. To make the tool last longer and work easier, remember to grease the threads of the pusher rods with a heavy grease and work them in and out a few times before first use. Also, WEAR SAFETY GLASSES! These springs are extremely strong and can injure you if they slip. I highly recommend this cost effective and functional tool.

This is a good value for a very sturdy, well made, high quality 10 piece engine valve spring compressor and clamp kit. The set is excellent quality and very well made overall. It’s made for removal and compression of compatible valve springs.The set includes a case, 1 compression bar, 1spring compressor U-clamp, 5 adapters in different sizes, and 3 extension hardware. The forged steel metal is treated with an ebonized oxide and is very sturdy and nicely finished in a smooth surface, solid structure with nonslip edges, safety locks and precision threading. It’s a very sturdy and well made set.The hard plastic case is very sturdy and holds the set items well in the inside holders and has a built in handle. The case isn’t labeled so you may want to make your own label for it or write on the outside what’s in the case. I did have an issue with one of the case closure snaps being very difficult to open (but not to close).I would give the set five stars overall, but there were two issues that lowered my rating to four stars. One, no use instructions or manual is included. You may want to print, save or refer to the listing pictures and details for use tips and instructions. Some minor assembly is required and this will help.Two, the case while very sturdy, was the most difficult case of this style (hard plastic, similar snap closure) I’ve ever opened. I couldn’t get it open by myself on one side (but the other side was normal and opened easily). My husband tried, and he had to end up getting a pair of pliers on one side that wouldn’t open properly (one snap opened properly, one did not and required pliers to open it). I would give the set contents aside from that five stars, but those issues did lower my rating to four stars.Be sure this is the right size and style for you vehicle. While it’s highly adjustable and adaptable, you’ll want to be sure and check the listing pictures, details and measurements to be sure. They have the sizes of the adapters listed in detail in the pictures in millimeters.

I used it on the head from a Kawasaki KZ650 and had no trouble compressing the spring so I could remove the valve retainer clips and valves. I got this item to work on inline four motorcycle heads and it is perfect for that. The tool is not heavy duty, but at no time did I think it was bending or slipping. The kit has all the items you need to use this tool and comes in a plastic case to keep everything together. This will come in handy in my garage.

Jaw is wide enough to fit on a 4.0 wj head. but when compressing the spring the c-clamp portion flexed some. This could be an issue for sure with applications with taller or stronger valve springs. Worked, but i would not want to rely on this this for any heavy duty or frequent use.

I got this to install heavy duty valve springs 26 pound on my predator 212 engine I am building to race because I couldn’t do it with my fingers. I have used several valve spring compressors in the past. This one lacks the pad on right side I took a photo and you see on the right side. What I did was use a piece of wood to shield it to prevent scratching the head. I like you get several attachments and have the case.

This tool gets the job done. You can tell it's not the most heavy duty option out there, thus the 4 stars, but so far it's done the job and still held up, so I'm happy with it. The plastic case it comes with is thick and nice and sturdy, so I like that addition, and don't have to worry about misplacing the pieces.

I plan to use this when I need it when I start working on my first engine, but it's some time away before I do. I loath reviewing products I haven't used but I knew I'd need this eventually so I ordered it. Everything looks sound to my eyes and it's about what I'd expect for the HB like pricing. I have nothing negative to say about it so, until it gives me a reason to drop my stars in the near future, 5/5 for now. If you need something more than that, well, the finish on the tools could be better, I guess? But for the price it's fine.

Will work in a pinch. No substitute for a lever c-clamp style. Tubular steel construction- not forged.
