Best small ceiling fan and very efficient
We love all Minka Air fan products. So much that we have 8 different Minka Air ceiling fans in 2 different homes. This small ceiling fan is very efficient in moving a lot of air and is very quiet. If you are looking for a small ceiling fan you should take a look at this model. We have three of these in our bathrooms living in the tropics.

Sweet Fan
Wanted a fan in the kitchen but only had 1 switch there was a single celing light there had to install a fan brace . With only 1 wire had to wire the light and the fan wire together with the supplied switch . When you turn up the fan or light they go faster and brighter together no big deal. But the fan motor definitely has a buzzing noise to it cant hear it when tv is on but if house is quiet can definitely hear it. Fan puts out alot of air for its size. Light can not be replaced if dies probably can order one from company I'm sure. Seems like they have good customer service I called them to make sure it was ok to twist the fan and light wires together and they told me yes. Looks cool too.

Fan makes a lot of noise
After two months, this fan began to rattle a lot. We are experienced with electrical (non-professional) and installed the fan correctly. Tightened all screws. Cannot figure out what makes the fan rattle so much. For $200 it's so annoying.

the low speed is very fast. So fast that its like the "FAST" setting,
the most annoying is the "rubbing" noise inside the hub.

Great fan, lacks a remote - requires special wiring
I love these fans. They are high quality, run silently and dependably, and look great. This particular fan does not come with a handheld remote, though, and rather it relies on a wall switch which requires a 4-wire installation meaning that 4 wires run from the switch to the fan rather than the more usual 3-wire setup. If you are replacing an existing ceiling light then the wall switch may very well be impossible to use other than as an on-off sitch without individual control of the fan and light, dimming, speed control, etc. The small size and lower price is a nice option compare to the larger version of this fan but be prepared to spend an extra $50 or some for the remote installation kit of both a remote and receiver (which mounts under the fan and requires your to remove the unit from the ceiling to install.

Fit and Look
Looks great fits nicely as a low profile even with the light kit. Only problem is the wall switch controller should be replaced with a wireless remote. Problem is the blue wire for the light to be controlled at the switch is not in the wall outlet at least not in mine nor in any of the other wall outlets to a ceiling light. Went to a lighting store and purchased a Minka-Aire wireless remote for $50.00 and all is fine. I am ordering another one for a friend and will also order the Minka-Aire wirelesss remote at the same time for allot less. You need to have use a Minka-Aire wireless remote for the warranty.

It’s a nice looking fan, but...
The fan arrived brand new but there was something wrong with the wiring: the light did not work. My electrician was able to fix the issue, but the fan wasn’t balanced and started shaking at medium speed. Got that fixed as well. We finally got everything installed and working but the fan was noisy. I would not buy this again. Too bad, it’s a nice looking fan though.

Great little fan!
I couldn't find a small fan that was even remotely attractive until I stumbled upon this one. It is a bit pricey for the size, but it does come with a nice wall control for dimming the light and controlling the speed of the fan which would probably cost you $20-25 if bought separately. Of course, I didn't use it, but rather put a couple Smart Life modules in the canopy of the fan so that I could control it from a Smart Life switch. Overall a very good small fan.
