These are some of the best speakers money can buy within this price range.If you're looking for some good speakers for your gaming setup or just a nice PC setup, then these are something you should check out. I fell in love with the sound that these speakers produced, I would say that the bass speaker is good, but I replaced it with something a little more powerful.All round, these speakers won't break the bank, but will give you near-perfect crisp sound!

Bought these to replace a pair of Logitech speakers which I had for many years and began rattling. These are fantastic, good crisp sound with a very solid base. Cannot fault them, just hope they're durable.They also look very polished, and the red on the speakers go particularly with my LED red fans on the desktop. Very easy to set up!Also reading other reviews, some people seem to get the UK version, and some get the EU version. I got the EU version, which meant I needed a euro converter plug, luckily I already had one. But not expensive anyway (: Should be more information to that, be nice to know which version you get.

having read reviews on these speakers i decided to purchase them,delivery date was the 27th of feb,please make sure somebody is in to sign for the parcel or click tab to be left with a neighbour,clicked tab for delivery to neighbour,came home from work no parcel,eventually parcel delivered fri 1st march,opened the box and discovered the security tab had been cut open,set the speakers up and blow me had a loud buzzing noise,set my old speaker up and they worked fine,genius speakers are being sent back,sad thing is no fault of mine i have to pay for them to be returned,be warned dosnt always pay to buy cheap

I bought these new speakers to go with my new gaming PC. Upon opening the box I discovered it had an EU 2-pin plug, which was obviously a bit annoying. However a quick trip to Maplins to buy a converter solved the problem. The actual sound quality is good for my tastes. It's obviously not going to be Bose or B&O quality, but for gaming they are very good. Deep enough bass to really bring the sound through adds a great deal of atmosphere where it was sorely lacking in my old setup.I played Skyrim & Mass Effect 3 with the new setup and was impressed at the quality. Having had very "tinny" speakers before, this was quite an improvement for me. In addition music comes through very nicely. I played a variety of tracks from jazz to dubstep as I have an eclectic taste, and was not left disappointed.I found no problems in setting up the wiring. It's straightforward, so novices should be assured.Overall I would recommend these for the budget-stretched out there. These were about as high as I was able/willing to spend on PC speakers, so it worked out well overall. I would caveat the review by reminding people to be prepared you may need to buy a converter. Maplins were selling them for £4.99 and I know they can be found cheaper elsewhere, probably on Amazon but I was an impatient puppy at the time.

Music sounds pretty good some genres are a bit lacking, the bass is rich and very strong - had my room vibrating.Gaming I've not tried.Movies / videos sound really strange like there is a constant echo as if they recorded in a corridor, if anyone knows a fix for this please help me out but for now I can't watch youtube or films with them which is most of the reason why I got it.I assumed since it sounded great with music and games that films would sound equally good.The set up initially looks a little convoluted but is pretty easy just connect the right connectors to the right place everything is labelled and colour coded.

I bought these after doing a lot of homework on what i should buy for the purpose needed.Very easy to set up,look amazing and extremely powerful.38watts is plenty for playing games,music and even out of the Tv.Im very happy with this set and I'm glad i didn't buy the next step up of this range of speakers ( Genius GX Gaming SW-G2.1 3000 - 70W) as i wouldn't use all the power without going deaf.When deciding what to buy,don't just go for more power for the sake of it as 9/10 you wouldn't even turn it up full anyway and cost you more to not use extra power .Half the price of the Genius Gaming 70w speakers this 38w set is brilliant value and i would recommend them 100%.Just make sure you buy the EuroConverter plug for £1.60 as it comes with a 2pin plug in the box.

I always feel it's good to come back to the product you bought, after you've used it for a while. I bought this on June 1st 2012, The speakers were great and the sub was awesome! I have no complaints about the sound quality or volume... something i would be worried about though, is the mixer. Slowly over the last month all of the ports in the back of the mixer have broken.. first it was the left audio, then the right and now the sub!.. this has left my system unusable! I have done nothing more to the ports since i bought it but, if you intend on using this for a long time, buy a different system or at least a different mixer!

Wow...Where to begin. The sound quality of these speakers are so crystal clear and the volume they can go to was unexpected at this price point. the mixer that comes with allows you to adjust bass and volume which comes in useful when needing to turn the volume down instantly or if you want a little more bass with the beats you're listening to is all a finger tip away.The bass of this speaker system is excellent as well. I bought this item about a year ago now and nothing seems to have gone wrong yet so here's hoping to many more years with these speakers as they're not only great for gaming but they are great for music when you have a party!
