Dark GreyBamboo is organic & has many positive & beneficial characteristics like good composition breathability, soft texture that gets softer with use, warmth/ heat retention, fabric durability, & natural antibacterial properties. It's a good cap/beanie for chilly climates/ excessive AC. Haven't yet had occasion to use it in "cold" weather.It's light, soft, & very comfortable. It's a little tall for a lady's head, but it's easy to fold up the sides for a better fit. It has stretch, so it should accommodate most any size melon.Thin, light, & warm. So far it's very nice. We'll have to try wearing it in Autumn & Winter, & in the mountains skiing.

The hat arrived without any of the required (by law) information about fiber content, washing instructions, or country of origin, so I have some concerns there.Also, the hat is very oddly constructed! There is one seam that goes from the bottom edge and all the way across the crown to give the top of the hat a nice curve, and then there are two shorter darts perpendicular to the seam. You would expect that the placement of the seam would be to the BACK, but that gives the hat a strangely unflattering appearance due to there being a POINT coming out of the top of the hat. The hat only looks GOOD if you wear it with that long seam going across from side to side.To sum up:I like the color, the fabric feels fine, the hat fits okay is comfortable, and the hat can look reasonably attractive on your head.HOWEVER, the hat does not have the required (by law) labeling, and in order to look good, the hat has to be worn with the seam on the left or right side of your head, which is odd looking but much less odd looking than having a point sticking out of the top of your head.

I recently started using Batana oil on my scalp to help with some hair loss and that product advises to cover your head after applying the oil so that's what I use this headwear for. The cap is very comfortable and lightweight as well as being breathable so I have no problem wearing it over an hour at a time. Some days I forget that I am wearing it in the house. For the price, I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for something similar for your headwear.
