I will admit that this pump breathed life back into the water table. I wish I'd had it for the past few years.The pump I received had a proud stamp that it had passed the quality control check, but it should not have. One of the suction cups has a large chunk cut out, and I had to rig it to make it stay under the water. I tolerated it because this was probably the last summer that we'd be using the water table, but I should not have to deal with it as a customer.

While I did not purchase this for the advertised use, it has proven extremely handy and durable.I'm in the process of rebuilding a vintage motorcycle and chose this setup to build a makeshift parts cleaning station. Using a large Rubbermaid, this pump and a solution of degreaser and distilled water, I was able to very thoroughly clean all of the parts that needed to be degreased before being reassembled.If this pump can withstand that sort of abuse and keep running, it will definitely be worthwhile for your kid's water table/play area!The pump moves a lot of water, the neck and nozzle are easy to adjust and direct, and the suction cups on the pump allow a solid fixture point. My only complaint is that it doesn't have an On-Off switch, so if it's plugged in it's on all of the time.
