Great scanner for the price!
Touch screen bidirectional scanner for a fraction of the cost. This scanner is 15x cheaper than my snap on and has the same functionality. Also comes in a blow molded case to protect it in your toolbox or service truck! Easy to use and loads fast. I’ve had several launch scanners and the design and quality are top notch!

High quality and a great professional feel!
Ordered the LAUNCH X431 CRP919E Lite on Friday, 14Feb2025... received it on Sunday the 16th. Shipment was lightning fast. This is a beautiful set. I particularly like the screen size. It shows high quality and a great professional feel. The storage case is definitely a plus. Installed all the software updates within 30 minutes. Used it for testing on a 2023 Ford F-150. It works perfectly.

Let me start by saying this is a scanner full of features that the DIYer may never even come close to using. It is likely worth the price unless the features you are planning to use don’t work. This brings us to why only a 1 star review. This CRP919E Lite had many functions that I could use but the one function I was purchasing it for and was supposed to have does not work; the TPMS Relearn. The TPMS Relearn needs to use an add-on accessory, the bluetooth iTPMS wand or TSGUN. I did already have the iTPMS wand and it functions partially with its own app via android devices but to use the Relearn and/or full functionality of the iTPMS you need a scan tool connected via the data communication connection on OBDII or newer car your are working with. The sales page for this CRP919E Lite says it does work with the iTPMS wand and also includes photos of it being able to function with iTPMS wand BUT with and without software/firmware updates to the CRP919E Lite it does not ever detect or look for the iTPMS bluetooth.

Reliable, but Mind the Disclosures
This diagnostic tool offers bi-directional control and a wide range of reset functions. It's great for performing various resets, actuation tests, and special functions on different vehicles. Be aware that when using it to tweak configurations, the machine gives you a lot of disclosures to the tune of "If this fails, it's your problem... we are not liable." I guess they have to do that, and so far, it hasn't caused any problems in my cars. I've used it on my 2014 VW Jetta, and while I normally rely on a VAG-COMM tool for diagnostics, I found that the LAUNCH X431 CRP919E Lite is not far behind. It handled most of the tasks well. On another note, I like having physical buttons. Also, the protective case can take some abuse. It seems durable and designed to be used in a pro shop and not only by DIY enthusiasts.

I’ve never seen a scanner this amazing
I am happy with the purchase as I bought another like brand only to discover that it had no speakers. Can’t watch repair videos without speakers. I returned it and bought this one. Pretty easy setup but I found that it will not connect to my truck and just a week ago the other scanner did not detect failing pressure sensor in my transmission but this one did. I am impressed with its performance and it comes with a VCI Bluetooth

Great purchase
It provides comprehensive error code readings making it easy to identify any issues with any vehicle. The interface is user friendly, and detailed diagnostics. It has already saved me time and money by helping me.

Great mid level scanner
Launch CRP919E Lite would be what I consider a mid level scan tool, perfect for the diy at home. It is fast because of being wired cable, It comes in a very nice durable protective case and I love the kick stand that comes with this scanner.It features bi-directional control allowing you to control various components to determine fault. Super surprised the CRP919E Lite can do immobilizer programming, TPMS reset, and oil change light resets, etc. graphing is very usable on the 7 inch screen, highly recommend this scanner.

Powerful unit!
Very powerful and easy to use whether you’re a DIY or need an extra unit for a small shop! I used mine on a 2016 Forester to diagnose a CEL and to reset an oil light. Big 7” screen is easy to read. I can’t wait to use it on other vehicles! Good value for the price!
