As I have only had the boots for a month, my opinion may change but, so far, they seem to be a bargain at under £50. Sadly, my walking these days is restricted to dog walking but even so, I need something sturdy, comfortable and waterproof.Back in my walking days and up until recently I have for many years had GRIsport boots. Unfortunately the last two pairs have been a disaster. One pair disintegrated whilst clearing snow last winter and the other pair have recently started leaking, the soles have split all over and turned to sponge; both pairs were only two years old. Needing something for walking the dog I did quite a bit of research and was left with more questions than answers. None of the makes I know of seemed to have good reports and the GRIsport sole problem appears to be fairly common.At £46.95 I decided to give these a try even though they were a name new to me, I felt I had nothing to lose. Delivery was quick and the boots came with an extra pair of laces and a carry/storage bag. From first putting them on they were comfortable, very comfortable. Size wise (UK 9) they are excellent. I have a broad foot and often have difficulty with the fit of any foot ware. These are super even with one pair of socks they are not too big and are just as comfortable with two.In the few weeks that I have had them they have had some really good tests on a daily basis. Good grip on ice and in slippy mud. Certainly waterproof both in rain and when walking through deep puddles and soft boggy grass and marshy areas. So far they have passed every test. I haven't yet tried in a stream of running water, I leave that to the dog.The only test now is time and how long they will last. Even if it is only eighteen months they are better value than boots costing two to three times the price and only lasting two years.So far very happy.

After a couple of weeks the boots are performing well. My feet are comfortable and dry. Quality of these boots is much better than their price. Only disappointment is that the boots were shown as country of origin India but the label on the boots stated made in China!

These boots have the look and feel of boots twice their price and the sizes are accurate, I didn't even need to break them in and they are so comfy and keep my feet warm and dry, they even come with an extra pair of bootlaces, amazing quality for the price and I will definitely buy from this company again.

I’ve only just got them out of the box and tried on but they seem ok for the price. Size wise they are roomy rather than tight. They are comfortable. Reasonably sturdy (hence a little heavy). I haven’t walked yet short of breaking in, so may update.

Looks really good quality leather and stout sole. Chosen as it has water guard where upper meets lower. It was as seen in the seller listing. But i bought these as a rebuy the next day as they are a good boot but even they were bought as dark brown, the box states dark brown, they are a complete different colour being mid tan. Keeping as i like rhe colour but buyer could be more colour conscious than me.

I am a night shift security guard who does a lot of walking in all weathers. A comfy pair of boots are a must.These boots are great and I have used this brand before without any problems. This particular boot has one flaw which is the stitching right at the heel on the inside. First time I wore them I got blisters on both heels. I had to soften them up using washing up liquid and put plasters on my heels for the first week of wearing them. Now I have worn them in properly they are extremely comfortable and I no longer get blisters.They are extremely good for walking in the rain and provide a nice grip too.They are easy to clean and very durable.Nice boots but wear them in around the house and soften the heels before going outdoors with them.

An update to my original review below:Having requested a return I spoke to the MD of the company who apologised and has sent a replacement pair of boots. They also paid for the return of the faulty pair. So far so good...wore them this.morning and still had dry feet after 90 mins walking through wet grass. More than happy.Brought these boots to use for walking the dog. Many reviews and the write up for the product said they were waterproof.....afraid not, can't deal with wet grass. Yes I have used a waterproof spray and polish, all to no avail. Looks like these will be going in the bin and back to trying to find a pair of waterproof walking boots. Shame really because they are very comfortable and fit well.

Initial impression, comfortable boots - very well made - look really nice, have yet to go for a walk in the rough with them so dont know how the waterproof situatio is but they look and feel top quality - and are very comfortable and soft, nice sizing, nice bit of room in the toebox but theyre not huge and bulky like some and they feel nice and light too. Grab a pair.
