This eyebrow pencil is very easy to apply. The tip has little prongs that dispense out the liquid onto your eyebrow. You can't press too hard because then you'll add too much. If you kind of just brush it lightly over the hair it will come out and give you a more natural look. It does take a minute or two to dry because it's a liquid not a pencil. It stayed on throughout the day. We haven't hit the muggy summer yet so I'm not sure how it will last out in that kind of element. But right now with the mild spring and being outside and moving around I had no problem with it staying on all day.
