Just the Job - Sustainable Bamboo Loo Paper
This is the umpteenth time I've ordered this bumper bundle of loo roll.We all know what loo roll's for, and for my lot this does the job. The roll is a good size, the paper is soft, although slightly stronger than the toilet tissue that's made from trees. We've grown to prefer it - it's resilient enough for all age groups, 1-89 yrs in our family. However, the idea that it somehow blocks the toilet is absolute nonsense, in my experience.Bamboo fibre is naturally anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, hypo-allergenic.The main plus point for me is the 'green' factor - I like the fact that this item is manufactured from bamboo end-of-harvest waste that would otherwise not be used for anything at all. The paper is manufactured in China, so bringing it to Britain is not great for the planetary footprint, but at least we didn't cut down a tree to manufacture it.A tiny part of my mind wonders whether, in 30 years' time we'll realise it was a huge mistake to take the 'otherwise wasted' bamboo fibres away from the Chinese mountains, in the same way that we now pay more attention to how much peat we take out of the Scottish hills. This is something I feel I can only monitor as time goes by; there's no doubt that bamboo grows at an astonishing rate.Although some reviewers find this paper expensive, where I live in London 60p per roll is very good value for money. The bag is easily tackled by those with a visual disability like me, and is biodegradable - in fact I use it to dispose of necessary clinical waste in other parts of the home.

Environmentally friendlier alternative
Cheeky Panda bamboo toilet paper is perhaps not quite a soft as the luxury wood-based quilted sort, if your rear end is pampered to that extent, but it is little different in feel to most well known products and does seem to be quite a bit stronger. The main difference seems to be size. The bamboo roll is slightly smaller diameter than say, an Andrex roll, which according to the seller, is because of differences in manufacture which means the bamboo sheets are not left coated with paper dust. Despite the difference in size the number of sheets, 180 three-ply, is similar to wood based products.I am not an expert on toilet paper manufacture but the claim that the different methods means bamboo paper will leave less dust in the toilet or bathroom does seem to be true as the fine film that used to quickly appear is now absent. We have been using Cheeky Panda for a few months now and in use as toilet paper there is no noticeable difference in practice between bamboo and wood based paper. Bamboo paper is strong, soft, absorbent and does everything you would expect of a quality loo roll.Less chemicals are used in manufacture so there should be less chance of any allergic reaction while bamboo is naturally anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. Bamboo needs no fertilizer or pest control and is much faster growing than wood, so Cheeky Monkey has plenty of green credentials going for it. It does have one drawback though - it is more expensive.

Soft, strong and lots on the roll.
So I was quite skeptical about this product as the reviews were very mixed.Firstly due to amazon prime same day delivery, I got it super speedy, which is why I decided to give this toilet paper a go, as it was one of the few available for prime.10.11.2017 - This bamboo toilet paper is lovely. The rolls do look small in comparison to Andrew and other brands, but there is no less paper on the rolls. The difference is, with this toilet roll you squeeze it and there’s no give, it doesn’t compact down as it is already tightly compacted, so it is more condensed therefore saves on packaging as the package is smaller to wrap. The paper is definitely softer than andrex (I actually prefer Tesco’s own brand to Andrex as it’s softer). It does break up just as easily as any other tissue paper and tears in all directions. So perhaps it has been much modified and improved since previous reviews or they were just unlucky with a dodgy batch. The cardboard tube in the centre of roll is thick and strong and I guess that’s how they manage to pack the tissue so nice and tight. As previously mentioned there is no fibres on tearing which is great, it doesn’t smell of anything and there was problem with wastage due to the roll being glued. I don’t think this roll was glued but being careful to unpick the seam was all that was needed and no wastage.I hope that everyone that buys this product has the same experience I have has. Also I did a quick google search on bamboo and it looks like although it can be grown in England, it doesn’t thrive here or grow very well at all, so perhaps that’s why it’s grown in China.I shall be ordering again. Just wish it wasn’t so pricy but so far seems to be lasting longer than the Cushelle we had before.

Decent to use and sustainable
I wasn't sure what to expect of bamboo looroll and many reviews of this and other brands suggest a strange smell but I've not found that at all. Its not as soft as Andrex but it is nice looroll. Soft enough for comfort, sturdy enough to not disintegrate in use. Packaging looks plastic but they claim it is biodegradable. I will buy this again.

Best Thing I've Bought In Ages - Hung Up About Toilet Tissue!
This is an excellent product.I don't know how I could go back to normal toilet tissue. There is no dust when you tear it and it feels substantial, but at the same time, soft and kind to skin. That's important to me because I often use toilet tissue for my nose and face. I also am used to wiping my 3 year old grandson's nose. Price is also good because the product compares well to prices of leading brands. It's good value though because I find I use less because it is so substantial. It's also so much better for the environment and I think that is important. It's easy to forget the damage to the planet that can be caused through our tissue and waste products. Delivered quickly too and nicely packaged. Try it once and you will be hooked. It seems strange to get hung up about toilet tissue but The Cheeky Panda has hooked me.

El mejor
Soy una persona con bastante problemas de piel y lo compré para probar. Desde que lo uso tengo mucha menos irritación y ya no puedo usar otro tipo de papel. He repetido y os aseguro que no me va a faltar nunca. Es un dinero bien gastado ☺️

Sehr dünn, aber reißfest und extrem weich
Sehr weich!
