I bought this since I've been making my own homemade bread loafs in order to have more uniform slices, and it's exactly what I needed. It's also super easy to break down smaller for smaller storage. It's high quality and even aesthetically pleasing. Recommend!

I ordered this bread slicer because I recently began baking my own bread and was looking for a way to make clean even slices. This slicer does a good job of that. It has evenly place grooves for the cutting knife. The slices sizes are a little bigger that I would like but I can adjust it by moving the loaf a little. I love that it has a crumb tray which makes it easy to clean and that I can fold it up nicely for storage. The wood does have cuts in it already from the knife but I guess that is to be expected. Overall, this is a great tool for cutting even slices of bread.

A piece snapped off when I was putting it together. I could easily still use it but I won’t because the slicing spots are all the same thickness - only one overly thick way to slice your bread. Not useful for me but the little piece snapped off so I can’t return it. Disappointing.

This bread slicer guide is a welcome addition to my kitchen. It makes slicing my homemade breach much easier, and helps me get more consistent slices. The adjustable slots allow me to get uniform slices, whether I want thick or thin, which is great for sandwiches or toast. The guide feels sturdy though the openings are a bit narrow. I think this slicer would be better if it was wider to accommodate larger loaves like my home made sourdough bread. The clean up would be simplified if it folded up more compactly. Over all, it is a solid product and recommended for anyone tire of uneven slices.

It performs the basic function but not that well. It's not adjustable so all the slices are of similar size. Many breads are taller than the guide so the guide is of no use when starting the slice which is exactly how guessing slice size works when I don't use this guide. The crumb catching tray is the same size as the whole slicer meaning when you draw your knife toward yourself or push it away as you saw through your bread, you throw crumbs all over the place so using this over your bread cutting board is necessary, anyway. This folds up but is still pretty large in my already cramped pantry. There are cuts in the bamboo cutting surface after a single use which isn't a big deal and not a surprise. I want to like this because it is well made but the design is flawed. It's actually easier to cut on a cutting board than it is to use this. The ad is beautiful and one of the best looking ads I've seen in a while because they use actual staged photography. I'm sorry I don't like the product better.

This bread cutting guide is well made and the bamboo is strong and sturdy. It remains stable in use, and makes it much easier to slice your bread evenly. The finish looks nice enough to be left on the counter without being an eyesore too.

This makes our sandwich loaf slicing so easy! This is easy to put together and has prefect slice spacing. It's sturdy as described and easy to clean and put away when not in use.
