Bye Bye Vermin
These traps are solid. Well build and will kill as intended. They are easy to use but be careful, they are sensitive as they should be.My neighbor has rats and refuses to clean up their yard/shed so the rats invade our yard and all the surrounding yards. I have tried live traps, bait boxes, and more with some success but largely the rats avoid that stuff. It wasn't until found and I followed the advice Shawn - - on YT - - Woods - The Best Way To Trap Rats video.I put these traps out in an area the rats are going to. The area was setup already in a way that I could close the trap area off so only the rats would be able to access them. Any thing larger would not be able to fit through. Got to keep my possums safe!Next, I left the traps shut and put high value food in the bait hole. In my case dog food. I did this for multiple nights, each morning the food was gone. This shows the rats the traps are safe. After 5-7 days of doing this I set the traps. I got 4 rats that night. The next morning I sprung the traps that were still live. Left everything shut and will be putting bait in them every night for the next 5 days. Then I will set them again. Repeat until you get all the rats.Adult rats will be harder to get. They are very weary of traps. I will probably need to use bacon or something similar to get them.

Very effective for getting rid of chipmunks!
Chipmunks were destroying our yard. Plants would continuously be dug up or chewed off at the ground. They have tunneled under sidewalks and caused cracking and heaving of the concrete. The last straw was when they started digging new tunnels along the foundation of the house. When the Jawz traps arrived we baited all six of them with sunflower seeds and peanuts. Within a couple hours, four of the six traps had caught chipmunks! The traps are easy to set and easy to pinch open to drop the dead rodent out of the trap. The best part is that the traps are reusable - so you do not have to throw them out after a single use. These traps have proven to be a cost effective way to rid our property of these destructive critters.

Works great with the right bait.
My wife and I have started gardening. Last year we had a rat problem and I tried everything I could think of. Peanut butter in smaller mouse traps, glue boards, snares, rat zapper boxes, and even treble hooks baited with cheese. We were that desperate. Finally, an exterminator was ale to put poison boxes out and got rid of the rats. This year, they were back with a vengeance destroying all of our green tomatoes. They completely ignored the bait boxes as the tomatoes were more appetizing. I bought these bigger traps and more glue boards. This time I changed up baits. I am using Lance Peanut Butter Crackers, which you can also get on Amazon. Fill the cups, set the traps. 4 nights, 4 big rats and no more devastation of our tomatoes. All they needed was something more appetizing that what they were feeding on and instant Ratmageddon! So for all that said they were not taking the bait, give them something more appetizing than what they were feeding on and these traps will do the trick.

I'm a believer!
I was skeptical at first because they were not catching the rats were knew were hiding in neighbors wood piles and invading our chicken enclosure. I changed the bait and moved traps and viola they work beautifully! In most cases they kill the rodents immediately, but not always. I highly recommend tying them off, so you do not lose the traps if the rodents try to bolt while ensnared.

Not effective, they don't kill or hold what they catch
I set all six, 4 of them were snapped and moved several feet away. It looks like they caught something, but the rodents were able to wrestle their way out. I've had other brands like Tomcat that killed whatever triggered them.

Kills Florida Tree Rats
I set these out and got 5 rats in the first 2 nights. Cheese worked the best, peanut butter was messy and didn't work as well. Very strong and sensitive so be careful. Cleaned them off with the hose in the back yard. Hope I don't have to use them again.

They do the job
Even though they can’t get into the coop, the little and not so little pests chew on everything to get in. These traps did a great job.

They don't like cheese, nuts
When you find something the rats will come to the trap for, they're toast - no doubt about it, these traps will kill them.My only problem - and it's not the fault of the trap - is that my rats seem to be rather picky about what they want to eat. They don't like cheese, nuts, peanut butter... occasionally they go for salami, but they seem to prefer my central vacuum piping's cement over everything. Yeah, they only go after the joints in the pipes.
