SCARPA Men's Kalipe Hiking and Approach Shoes

So comfortable. Love the firm grip around the achilles. That part of the shoe has broken down quickly in other Scarpas I've had from pushing your feet into the shoe without lifting the heel tab. Loved the flared Vibram sole. So sticky. I've used these on metal grates, slippery rock and snow. They look fantastic and handle super well. I feel bad the side panels of the sole are white because, whilst they look good they are also prone to getting dirty. All those lace points stop the tongue slipping to the side, provide a snug fit and have Italian styling on the lace patterns. They are also light which has become such an important feature for me now. I get an extra couple of miles out of a hike comfortably not having to lift that extra weight. I think this is their best approach shoe to date.

the fit the finish and comfort cannot be match. I work in construction and these are by far the best shoes I've ever worked in
