Best thing I’ve ever done!
Been on slimfast for two weeks and lost 6 lb that just wasn’t shifting by any other means. I’ve tried SW in the past and did well on it but it just tires me out thinking what to eat all the time, especially on lockdown...what’s for lunch...what can I snack on..what’s for tea..and all the time trying to make the right choices- it’s exhausting. To give this diet programme a chance, you’ve gotta love milkshakes or you’re not gonna make it. Also the there is really no need to blitz it in a blender. Buy their shaker beaker for a fiver. It’s brilliant and produces a well mixed frothy shake with or without the ice and you can store the powder underneath to take to work. Yes the sippy part of the top is tough to take off but I take the whole top off and drink like a cup.Anyway back to the product...the main problem you’ll have is what flavour to try especially if you’re just starting out. I agree with most of the posts on here and the general consensus is...Chocolate- disappointing, not particularly frothy or chocolately but still worth having.Banana- as you would expect it to taste entirelyStrawberry- again , as you would expectCafe latte - a real treat to have in the mornings, but might be sweet for someCaramel - smooth taste, reminds me of a butterbeer a littleVanilla- a bit plain and seems thinner than the othersI’ve read of some mixes such asCaramel and banana= banoffe pie, I haven’t tried it yet but I can’t wait!Caramel and chocolateVanilla with frozen fruitsAdding real coffee to the latte or to vanillaI was thinking to warm up the chocolate or the coffee ones for a change. Some folk claim it’s expensive, I don’t see how. One tub gives you your breakfast and lunch for 6 days for a fiver, how is that expensive??Some moan about the flavours, I would question their love of milkshakes in the first place.I’ve not experienced any clumping or aftertaste.A typical dayWake up - water and a banana leaving my shake till later in the morning.Snack - three crackers and peanut butter or more fruit.Another shake at lunch.Afternoon- another shakeBefore tea time - piece of fruit or carrot stick or any snack under 100 calories.I’m not calorie counting my tea , I ll just have whatever the family is having but with extra veg and less carbs sometimes but other times I’ll have the rice or pasta portion with the meal.Drink as much water as you can.I’m also doing couch to five k.The shakes fill you for two hours max but if you pan the day out as above you can easy wait for tea. Most days I’m thinking oh I can have my snack now, sometimes I’ve even forgotten to have my second shake. I love the simplicity of it all. My cravings are virtually non existent and my portion size at tea has taken a natural turn to the smaller size.I binged on an Indian one evening and as much as I enjoyed it, I couldn’t wait to get back on the slimfast the next day because I felt , well I dunno, just not right, I wanted to feel light like on the shakes.Best thing I’ve ever done. The weight will go back on when I stop, it will on any diet but this diet is reducing cravings and portions, something SW does not do. In fact they encourage you to eat as much as you want of the right foods of course. I can see my future with this diet. Maybe I ll drop it for a few days then do it for a week and so on. Or maybe I’ll start to have breakfast and shake for lunch or vice versa. That’s no different to the fasting diets.Best thing I’ve ever done.

Excellent! 5kg down so far
Honestly, I really can't fault this product. This was just what I needed, a quick meal replacement drink that boosts your metabolism.Bit of a back story, I have PCOS which greatly affects my ability to lose weight, I'd normally gain weight from literally just breathing. I reached my breaking point when my weight peaked at 93kg, I have struggled with weight loss almost all my life, constantly fluctuating and gaining even more weight than before. I no longer wanted to be the chubby chick so after reading several good reviews, I decided to give it a go. I began my journey on the 8th of May, and I'm chuffed to say I went down from 93kg to 87.3kg (last weight in 10th June) so that's a 5.7kg weight loss and I don't fluctuate at all. The shakes taste really nice and since receiving my first one, I decided to stock up and bought more of a variety, my favourite being the Chunky Chocolate one. You'd be surprised at how full they can make you, with such small calorie intake too. Of course, I control my calorie intake and snack healthily, however I have had a few cheat meals and cocktails and to my suprise, I always stay the same. It's worth noting this shake will give you looser stools, usually around 3-4 hours after consumption, but in my case, it aids my digestion and makes me feel less bloated. I haven't kept track of how many inches I've lost, but I've made my size 14 jeans loose, and there is less flab on my stomach and less of a double chin. I find that the shakes work well combined with exercise, not even the strenuous kind, just an hour's walk in the evening will do. Also, I do not drink these shakes twice a day, I do have a healthy small breakfast and I sometimes make a bigger portion to replace lunch and dinner. The only negative thing I have to say about this is that it's not cheap in the long run. If you use it as recommended, you will run out in 2 weeks time or so. It's worth adding ice and keeping the shake in the fridge as it gets really thick if it's too hot in the room. Tastes a lot better from the blender than the shaker too, shaker comes out clumpy.Overall, I'd rate this product 5/5, because it gave the motivation to start getting myself in shape. I'm almost 6kg down, 20% into my weight loss journey and I feel more energetic than ever.

Tasted better than I expected
I bought this product on a whim to replace breakfasts on busy days. It tastes like banana flavouring mixed with malty cereal, not unpleasant. There's a perceptible sweetener flavour that might be an issue for some. The tub comes sealed with a plastic lid and foil. Somehow I managed to slice open my finger pad on the foil, so maybe be careful when removing it. It has a plastic measuring scoop inside and instructions on the tub for how to make your shake. The powder tends to clump up in both water and milk and needs a generous amount of shaking to incorporate it. Almost every drink had at least one clump of banana flavour gum floating in it. Its an otherwise pleasant milkshake with a thick silky texture and faux banana flavour. Fairly easy to use if you don't mind shaking until your arms fall off, but thats not a bad thing if you're trying to lose weight.

Very reliable shop with genuine products. Will definitely buy again!
- Take 250 ml of cold skimmed milk - Add 2 level scoops of powder to the milk (scoop in tub) - Shake well for approximately 20 seconds. For best results use a blender and ice.
