I purchased 3 of these and have them in chain for my inground pool. I know they would work better in parallel, but I don't want them at both ends of the pool. I just need to work on slowing the water flow through the lines, but I need to purchase another pump for that.If they can extend the time, I can use the pool a few weeks on each side of summer I will be happy.

This product does not come with the hoses needed to attach it to the pool. When trying to purchase. The correct hose is discontinued which makes these heaters useless.

The concept works , but the execution of the product does not. This design is geared towards low volume pool pumps that will enable the system to heat the water. Also not the hoses are junk and the system is made for 1 1/4" hoses , which will not work well with 1 1/2" hoses even with the reducer.Leaks developed and hoses were constantly "blowing" off with too much pressure.

The hoses provided are junk, every single one ended up having springing holes after the unit was working for maybe a day. I purchased standard heavy duty pool hoses and they atleast didn’t spring holes. The fittings for hoses don’t fit any standard pool hose so from the pressure the hoses would blow out within hours of the unit being on. It drained my pool down to the skimmer 4 times. Just don’t buy this product! No matter what you do you will have the same issues. And their customer service is terrible! They offer no guidance, first offered me $20 for the hoses. Then after communicating in ten emails clearly saying I had used the unit and it didn’t work, they said “oh well since you have used the unit we will offer you 40% back” Amazon shouldn’t even be selling this product. I had to chose a star but it should get a zero.

The connection lines for the hoses use a rubber sleeve to fit a 1.5 inch hose and these sleeves slide off after a while due to the water pressure circulating through the solar heaters. I've dealt with water being drained from my pool three times and now I'm having to purchase special sized PVC fittings to make these solar heaters work with the 1.5 inch hoses on my pool and filter.
