I bought the NIANPU Gun Safe for Handgun (Biometric) for my bedside. The biometric scanner is fast, opening in under 2 seconds with a 90% success rate, even in dim light, thanks to the backlit keypad. It fits my Glock 19 and an extra mag comfortably, with foam padding to prevent scratches. The steel build feels sturdy, and the backup key is a nice safety net. I mounted it to my nightstand using the pre-drilled holes—easy setup. Only issue: the scanner can fail with sweaty fingers, so I keep the key handy. Great for quick, secure access overall.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my bedside nightstand. It's the perfect size for a handgun and some extra magazines. The fingerprint scanner works great and you can store up to 50 prints. The keypad is a nice option to have, but I mostly stick to the fingerprint scanner. I really like that it has the option to screw it down if you want.

It’s perfect for the price I purchased my first gun last week and this is the perfect fit for it. I feel like it’s secure in this safe because of the build quality and screw holes it has to screw it down. The finger print mechanism works great and if you don’t like that it’s has a password function and key hole. I would recommend this to someone who got their first gun and wants to keep it safe and secure away from children but at the ready for a life and death situation.

This product was larger than I expected. Sturdy. It has the option for keys, a code or thumbprint. So far they all work pretty well. I would recommend for money. I wanted this because I have kids but want ease of access in my room. This gives me peace of mind.

I like keeping my Glock close to my bedside at night to be ready for anything but couldn’t stand the thought of one of my kids “somehow” stumbling across it. They’ve all been taught respect for firearms but I wanted the extra piece of mind. This stopbox fits into a drawer nicely and the setup instructions were easy to follow. This biometric setup went quickly and you can program all of your fingers if you want. Can also be operated by customized combination, key and if all else fails you can connect a usb c cable to it from a power bank or any other source to pop it open should the batteries expire. I now have peace of mind keeping my firearm close and keeping my kids safe.

JUNK! Better off leaving your gun in a combination safe unloaded two rooms away. Still be faster to walk to the other room enter your combination load your mag than get your finger print to open this. I bought two entered multiple fingerprints two different fingers and a combination. All worked well when I was doing it. Tried to open both boxes a week later and neither would open. Complete trash!!!

Biometric works, solid build and good finish. Could use cushion on the inside of the lid, but does have a led light inside. No excuse to keep your gun unsecured.

Lockbox is exactly what I was looking for. The biometrics was easy to set up and hasn’t given me trouble yet. The automatic light on the inside upon opening is a nice touch. The automatic pop up once the code or print has been entered is a nice touch. My only gripe is the “hidden” lock hole is blatantly obvious as it shows “lock” on it. I wish this was a removable sticker as opposed to the permanent indication. So far it’s worked great, especially considering the value.
