Westcott School Scissor Caddy and 5-Inch Pointed Safety Scissors for Kids, Assorted, 24 Pack (14755)

I bought these a couple years ago and love them! I bring them home every summer and throw them In the dishwasher to clean themAnd they are just as sharp as when I bought them. I wash the caddy also and it still goes together like new! Great addition to any teachers classroom!

Both the scissors and caddy seem to be well-built and sturdy. I have bought other scissors and they did not hold up well when used by 6th graders. These scissors are very functional and have held up very well. Great product with a great price.Update: These scissors are still going strong after a year of constant use. The scissors and the caddy both have held up well. I would definitely purchase these again.Update 2: 7 years later, still going strong!Update 3: 11 years later and hanging in there. Students have misplaced some of the scissors, but the caddy itself is still in beautiful condition. We use it almost every day.

I was torn between these and the Fiskars. You all know teachers need dang good scissors for kids (and we usually need an economical choice). These are GREAT! Blades fit together and open/close perfectly. No gaps so kids have the precision tool they need for cutting. When the cuts are bad, I know it is due to fine motor skills and can make a plan for that student.

I purchased this set of scissors for the classroom. They are very sturdy and cut through both construction paper and card stock. The holder, while made of plastic, is cute and rather sturdy and should stand up fairly well to storing the scissors. This set is a great way to keep access easy while staying organized. There is also enough room to write a teacher name on the (top part of) the metal of each scissors if you would like to mark it for your classroom.

I use these in my classroom- I love how they come with the handy carrying case- it keeps them organized and in one spot. They are also not too sharp for my 6th graders!

The price was good. The scissors will cut thin cardboard or tight corners. The caddy is cute but definitely not strong enough for school use. My daughter now uses it on her desk at home.

Try to always ask my daughter’s teacher if she needs anything for herself. it’s hard being a teacher which they have to go out of pocket with some supplies for their students. This is my family saying thank you and we support you. By the way she loves them!

I like they come with a caddy, and different colors. This will make it easier to hand out and return during class. Thank you so much for prime day! I have always wanted a good class set of scissors.

I like the way this looks in my classroom and some students like sorting the scissors according to colour. I find the scissors to be adequate quality and so far the caddy has not broken. We have used it for four months so far.
