Helps Between Coloring Times
Of all the other root color products I have used, so far this one works the best for me. It stays on and blends well and is not as messy as the "mascara wand" kind that I have used in the past. It seems to not come off on pillowcases either which was one of my main concerns. It will do as a great cover-up until I can get my hair colored again.

It works but as well as the name brands
I have mixed emotions on using this product. While I like that it glides on I do need to use a lot of the it and firmly applying it to my scalp. And I need to do it several times before I see any dramatic results. Then I used the famous name brand one and there's a huge difference. The name brand one was easy to apply and I saw a difference with just one stroke. So this product is good if you want to use it on bay hairs around the scalp. If you want to cover your greys that are along the center of your head you may be disappointed.

my hair looks more full!
I have been self conscious over my hair root lines - I already have thin hair so I feel like there's even less hair when you can see a bit of my roots on the top. I really like this hair root touch up powder to cover it up! Super easy to apply and it helps make my hair look more full! When I touch the roots with my fingers there's a bit of black smudge that gets on my fingers but I never had any issues seeing any of it get on my pillows or other clothes so it stays on pretty well. Washes off easily in shower. Still stays on well even when I wear a hat/cap.

Yeah... it's eyeshadow. For your head.
I've gotten to be a fan of the hair fibers that you sprinkle over for covering the thin spots; I was hoping this would be the same kind of thing. It's not. It's eyeshadow for your head.Goes on SUPER light. Can barely tell there's anything there, just a hint of color.It's not sweat proof at ALL, the slightest bit of moisture and it was gone. To that end it washes out easily enough I guess.The powder doesn't stay on anything. The little tub it's in mentions "instantly cover roots and define brows" -- so was this supposed to actually be an eyebrow color? Oof, they don't even know what they want to be.I didn't try wetting it. There's no point. It's just eyeshadow. I know what that will look like, and it will just flake off of my head.The upside? (i.e. why I'm giving it a few stars anyway) it's actually decent eyeshadow. So I'm using it for that. It's not really a great value for that, just a single dull brown color, but it works for me a base color, because it's so light it just gives a slightly darkened effect to my lids. I dig that.But it doesn't do anything to cover roots and gray. Pretty funny pitch there.
