New to Celtic Salt
I’ve been reading about the potential benefits of Celtic Salt and I purchased this to see if I noticed any difference. It’s too soon to comment on any health benefits but I really do like the flavor, especially on steak, and it has now become the go to seasoning in our household!

Different experience!
I'm not a huge fan of coarse salt but I've heard Celtics salt has an alkaline pH which can improve immune function and detoxifies the body. I've also heard it can help you absorb more nutrients from your food so I thought it's worth trying. It's definitely a different experience because the salt is a bit wet unlike other salts. You have to adjust the cook time because it's a bit coarser, it does have a nice reusable package though which is nice. Definitely read the instructions on how to properly store this kind of salt only because it's on the wetter side.

Much larger morsels than I thought
Somehow this salt truly tastes less salty. The flavor is good. The crunch is good. Sprinkled on boiled eggs adds a unique flavor. IMHO this is a salt to be used on charcuterie boards. Its not something you would toss in a pot of chili.

Great amount
You do get a lot of course salt in one pack and I actually still have a lot more of this left. It is great to cook with but be careful to not overdo it as coarse salt form may be a bit much as the pieces are a bit thick in their sizing. Overall I do appreciate the benefits in health and using it for cooking.

Delicious! Lower sodium! Great choice! Nutritional Panel below! Hard to find in local stores!
I appreciate the "Celtic Salt Light Grey Coarse 1lb (16 oz) Bag Celt Salt by Nature's Pantry- Authentic, Authentic, Hand Harvested, 82+ Minerals, Non-GMO, Organic & Unrefined, Great for Cooking, Baking, Pickling" by Celt Salt by Nature's Pantry because I have been looking for a good source for over a year. This Celtic Salt is delicious! It arrived much dryer than the one package I found a year ago online. After doing some searching last year (and talking with others who use Celtic Salt), I found some slight dampness is normal. I am normally very low sodium, so low that sometimes it's not enough. Celtic Salt was recommended to me by those who told me my numbers were too low. I could find none in any store in my area and I was only able to find the one bag online before they ran out. So, after finding this product I'll happy to be able to report I followed instructions. I cannot give advice, but this Celtic Salt with all the trace minerals is an excellent option. This Celtic Salt is lower in sodium and much healthier with all the trace minerals. It is 480mg sodium per 1/4 tsp. Regular salt is approx. 581mg for that same 1/4tsp., Himalayan salt is approx. 550 per 1/4tsp. (numbers vary depending on the salt) That 101/70 mg difference can add up fast for those who need to watch their salt intake. It arrives in a stand-up bag/pouch with a ziplock-type resealable bag. It is sources from "along the coastal region of France".There is a photo on the listing that shows the Nutritional Facts but most of it is cut off so you can't see the actual numbers. I hope they will correct this so those who are low sodium can compare numbers for themselves. The nutrition facts on my 1 lb.
