Fluval C4 Foam Pad (Pack of 2)

I wanted to use this for my C2, since the foam pads for C2 are not available, but this is 1 component of a 2 stage foam pad, so some modification will be required. But good quality original item, in good packaging.

A quality product.

The filter works as expected and does a decent job, however compared to previous experiences the quality seems to have decreased over recent years. The filters still have the shape and thickness you would expect, however the quality of the foam itself feels much cheaper compared to the filters I am replacing of the same brand. Performance wise it seems to be still just as effective for preventing clogging, however it may just be as effective to buy a sheet of foam with similar density and cut it to size.

Ideal para recambio de las esponja para filtrado mecánico del filtro de mochila Fluval C4. Es la oficial. No obstante existen otras opciones, pero considero que son menos interesantes.

Just a piece of 1/4" cut open celled foam. Cheaped out on this replacement part.

Its 2 pc of thin foam made in China for 2 cents but you need it for Fluval filters. that's where they get you
