Buy extra batteries
I was never much into shooting video before. I wanted to get into the world of action cameras so that I could take videos while out on my kayak, and even in the winter when I go snowboarding. I didn't want to pay the very high prices that are associated with other brands. I found the Akaso to be an attractive offer with a wide variety of attachments and accessories for a very fair price. I unfortunately haven't been able to use it as much as I originally intended, but I have gotten some nice videos out on my kayak and Snowboard, and even of my bird feeding station in my backyard! It was fun posting the camera right next to the bird feeder and getting some close-up shots of the birds! The biggest issue I've been having is managing my battery life usage. I'm having a hard time engaging the true length of battery life. I think when I'm in the mountains and it's cold, the batteries probably don't last as long under those conditions. Otherwise great camera and lots of fun to use!

Does What I Desire it to Do -
I do not sky-dive, scuba dive nor snow board. I ride motorcycles and Hike. The Askaso Brave 7 is perfect for my endeavors. For me, there is a learning curve yet not insurmountable nor terribly frustrating. The videos are Very Good… Sound, excellent especially once I learned to turned on Wind Reduction :-)….Battery Life much better than I anticipated… Feels/acts Sturdy and well built. I am well pleased. Cost, image, audio, features, accessories, durability and quality
I purchased 3-AKASO BRAVE 7 and 1-BRAVE 7e for comparison based on online videos. I plan to use them for biking, diving, fishing and other outdoor work. Compared to the GO PRO 10, the 2024 Brave 7 and 7e have great audio, image quality, cost, waterproofing, durability, features, extra battery, charger, remote controls and accessories! My packages included 1/4-20 stud for tripod mount. Audio is great and cost of replacement is tolerable if lost or damaged. The web site, menus and online manuals are great, organized, informative and easy to read. Well done AKASO. I do recommend this product and company and I will purchase the next model! RN Lewis

My Son Loves It!
Bought this for my 10 year old on his birthday. We plan to bring with us on a couple hiking trips so haven’t tried everything yet, but have used the handle bar mount for his dirt bike. He loves setting up the tripod and taking pictures of things throughout the day. Excited to use the selfie stick (sold separately) mount and the other wearable mounts when we hike. Quality looks great and easy to upload to the computer.

AKASO BRAVE 7: A Budget-Friendly Adventure Companion
I recently purchased the AKASO BRAVE 7 action camera and I'm absolutely blown away by its performance for the price. It's a fantastic option for anyone looking to capture their adventures without breaking the bank. The video quality is crystal clear, even in low-light conditions. The 4K resolution is perfect for capturing every detail of my mountain biking trips and snowboarding adventures. The image stabilization is also impressive, making my footage look smooth and professional.I love the dual-screen design. The front-facing screen is great for vlogging and selfies, while the rear screen is perfect for framing my shots. The camera is also waterproof up to 16 feet, so I don't have to worry about getting it wet during water sports.Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase of the AKASO BRAVE 7. It's a fantastic value for the price and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable action camera.

Affordable Waterproof Action Cam
I debated between the GoPro Hero and various Akaso models and ended up on realizing I simply needed an affordable action cam that was waterproof, so I went with the Brave 7. I was going on a trip to FL so water was in its future.I ordered a couple 128GB highspeed micrsoSD cards for it as well. It came well packaged and with a ton of accessories. The documentation, which you get online, is precise and well written. Tip: don’t throw away the foam cover that it comes with, it can be used for wind noise reduction. The model is well reviewed on other platforms so I was able to get enough information on how to set it up and the best settings for it. The touch screen is easy to use and is responsive. I turned off the wind noise reduction feature, with it on, audio just cut in and out and it did not seem to work. The image stabilization worked great, I really liked how I didn’t need a gimble for it at all.On the FL trip I used it to film walking on the beach, in the city, playing in the ocean, ( and yes its waterproof, at least down a couple feet), driving in a car mounted on the windshield, and to take a couple pictures. I ended up on 2.7k/30fps as a good resolution for shooting most video. The best video you are going to get out of it will be in good sunlight, outdoors. It is after all, an action camera meant to be used outdoors 😊 The batteries seemed to last a decent while, we’ll see how the longevity of them will be over time. The only small gripe I have is the SD/USB slot door, it’s a bit tricky to get shut, you have to do this push in and slide up maneuver to get it to click back in place. I can only assume its due to the waterproofing material. Its not a huge deal as I don’t take the SD card out super often, its just something you have plan for if you are in a hurry to swap SD cards. I did download the AKASO GO app on my iPhone and it seems to work OK, but I haven’t yet used it extensively yet. The accessories seem to be good, if you need them. The remote control is useful if you have it mounted to like a helmet or somewhere you don’t want to have to constant be hit the record button. It survived the trip and being used in a saltwater ocean without a case, I just made sure to wash it off with cold tap water after each ocean use. It also performed well in 110 degree heat, I just made sure I didn’t use it for hours at a time in that heat, so it didn’t get too hot. The pictures it took, with using the widest angle, were crisp and it was nice to get a wider field of vision than you’d get from a phone.Overall I’d recommend this camera to someone who is looking for a affordable action cam to use for travel in damp and wet environments. I’m happy with it and will continue to use it for my adventures.

Wifi Issue
For its price, there is a ton of accessories, and the video taken is quite decent. The unit feels well built. Problem is that the one I received has issue turning on the wifi - it gets stuck on the screen, and I have to manually reset the camera to get it back to a responsive state. No way I can turn on the wifi, it hangs the entire unit. App connectivity is a key reason I bought this. Contacting tech support, hopefully this gets resolved.
