CYBEX Sirona M SensorSafe 2.0, Lavastone Black,Car Seat

UPDATE: we’ve now been using this car seat for 18-mos (our kiddo is now 2.5 years old). I’ve reached my witts end with this car seat. The foam head cushion is SO noisy when the car seat is empty. I have tried everything to get the noise to stop, but no towels rubber bands or volume up on the radio seems to drown out the constant squeaking. I am very disappointed to have spent so much money on a car seat that didn’t even last two years.I researched high and low and finally decided on the Cybex Sirona for all the tech and safety features. While all those are great...my daughter (12-mos) is just not as comfortable in this one as she is in her basic Graco carseat. This one looks comfy, but the crotch buckle is EXTREMELY difficult to release. And the only cupholder is in a spot that my daughter can't even reach. You can remove the cupholder, but I can't figure out how to attach it further up on the seat. I sadly wish I could return this.

The safety provided by CYBEX products are what keeps us coming back. My wife and I decided to go with our second CYBEX car seat after a recent accident that ended with a direct impact to the side our 6 month old was located on. The car seat took the full impact, and our little man was unaware, even though mom and dad had one of the more frightening experiences of our early parenting lives. The side impact that we had experienced, led us to the Senora with the sensor safe/side impact system, which has been a perfect fit thus far. The technology is advanced and we are a huge fan of the notifications sent and help out with our piece of mind. We would definitely recommend the Senora to anyone who asked.

We’ve had a lot of luck with previous Cybex/goodbaby products (we’re owners of the PockIt Stroller for our three year old and the gb Platinum Maris 3-in-1 travel system for our baby) and when it was time for our baby boy to move into a bigger car seat we knew we’d stick within the same line of products. We decided on the Sirona M in Pepper Black and my son, who previously screamed whenever he was put in a car seat, is now completely calm on his way to daycare! It’s a lot roomier and easier to put him into which makes getting out the door less of a hassle. I installed the SensorSafe app on my phone and am excited to try that out when the interior temperature of the car fluctuates more in Summer (we’ve only just started getting nice days!). In the meantime, the gentle reminder from the SensorSafe that you still have your baby strapped into their car seat when you turn off the car is nice and the chimes aren’t intrusive.This car seat will definitely grow with our child and again, this is another great purchase from Cybex!

I installed this seat about a week ago, and love it. It's large and roomy for my son who has plenty of room to grow and time to rear face as long as possible. It comes with comfortable shoulder and crotch padding so that you aren't tempted to use dangerous aftermarket products. Installation is easy and the magnets wow everybody I show. It has many adjustments for a perfect installation (two tips here: find the gap at the bottom of the seat so you can pull the strap tighter, as pictured, and always see a car seat tech at your local fire station or police department! 4 out of 5 seats are installed wrong - don't be one of them! Car seats are crash tested with perfect installation, not sloppy.) and fit. This works fantastically in my 07 Prius which has the newer OBD2 that became standard in 08 - you can use an OBD1 to OBD2 adapter in older cars. We played with it some and it does a great job sending notifications to the driver and family members as needed.The one problem I had is that at first after installation, the device dinged that his chest clip was unsecured every time I braked. Make sure if you're driving a hybrid you change the settings to register appropriately, which will stop this happening. Customer support was fantastic, and can be dialed straight from the app.

When researching infant car seats for our daughter I researched multiple brands but since we were happy with the Cloud Q Infant car seat and the Cybex Pram stroller my husband and I decided to stay within the same brand. I was sold by the quality of their products and how safe they are. On top of it the design and tech features makes the Sirona such a great seat. My daughter is more comfortabale and trips in the car have improved considerably. On hot summer days I’ve been able to know how long it takes for the car and her seat to cool down and reach a fair temperature. The only annoying thing is that the sensor beeps when my eco friendly SUV stops at a light or due to traffic because it momentarily shuts down the engine. Besides that I would totally recommend it. Make sure you read the manual carefully, once you get the installation down to the T you’re golden.

La silla se ve de excelente calidad y es muy fácil de instalar con el sistema latch. Solo no le pongo 5 Estrellas porque me parece demasiado ancha y la verdad es que el sensor no sirve para nada.

Me encanto el diseño y el color. Se ve súper bien en el coche, el sensor safe también me pareció una excelente extra. El único detalle es que el cinturón quedaba muy bajo.. apretaba las piernitas de mi niña así que preferí regresarlo, para loCuálFueron súper rápidos y atentos.

Buen producto, llego en perfecto estado, la caja del embalaje un poco maltratada pero el producto bien sellado y completo. En general es un excelente producto para la seguridad de los niños
