Everyone needs this in there home
Great product works perfectly, I found out that where I live only the hot water is softened. I didn’t know it could be set up like that. So I wanted to check. All signs show this place as having really hard water. Both are true the cold water is off the charts for really hard water and the hot water is soft. Great value the color accuracy is better than I expected and was so easy to understand I definitely recommend purchasing comes with more than enough to last for a long time

Great water test kit for hard water.
Very good product. I suspected my water softener was not working properly and this test productproved my point. I was then able to get the company that I purchased the softener unit from to make the necessary repair.

Strips in Tube May be Stale
The strips are easy to use, and are accurate enough for my purpose. Water coming into the house is hard (3), water from the taps is soft (0), so I'm confident my water softener is working. I agree with other customers that the strips in the tube can be stale, and may not give accurate results. I got better (less ambiguous) readings from a fresh pack of strips. I would suggest that all four sets of strips be packaged in sealed pouches. That way all of the strips would be usable.I would actually prefer to buy single strips in individual sealed pouches. I only need to use two per month to verify that my incoming water hasn't changed and the softener is working.

Excellent test strips
These test strips provide accurate water hardness measurements. My previously purchased test strips were well beyond their expiration date and providing erroneous test results. I would recommend paying close attention to the expiration date of previously purchased test strips.

Worked for us!
These worked well for us! I tested water before and after our water softener was installed, and the results were as expected. Colors were easy to identify in my opinion.

Easy to use
Strips are easy to use. Comes split between 4 sealed pouches. Once the pouch is opened it is only good for 3 months. Thinking the should a smaller number per pouch so they won’t go stale and end up being thrown out.
