Interesting Chameleon
Strength 3 is a lighter brew than I normally choose but I tried it hand ground in a paper drip filter and also run through our bean-to-cup De Longhi PrimaDonna as double espressos. The beans are small, mid brown and dry and have a dry violet chocolate smell. Where to start? -this coffee is a chameleon! It makes a very enjoyable coffee both ways, but differently and variably. Brewing it fairly strong in a drip filter (25g for 16oz) I found pronounced sweet caramel flavours followed by a drier almost smokey nuttiness that took me a while to place but is more walnut than hazelnut. Mouth feel is on the light side heading towards tea. Aftertaste was a pleasant simple coffee (think Nescafe) and quite mild.As an espresso (machine default for ‘strong taste’, 1oz single) it has a pronounced long lasting crema, like a head on a glass of stout, yet a light body with a very watery mouth feel -even lighter than the filter experience. The espresso flavour also differed appreciably with surprisingly little sweetness and distinct floral notes, like parma violet, especially in the aroma. On tasting, the caramel had disappeared to be replaced by a pleasant burnt toast to high cocoa chocolate dryness. The swallowing taste was bright and ‘green’ (which I’m not a fan of) yet the aftertaste was finally sweet chocolate. A family member was roped and in and described the espresso as perfumed, smoky then chocolatey. Certainly a complex coffee, and for me it delivered a more enjoyable more rounded cup from the drip filter. To my taste it’s more an after dinner coffee than a breakfast one, lacking the body and strength of flavour I like in my cup, but easy to drink with a pleasant aftertaste and plenty going on while you drink it.Buy if you like lighter coffees on the floral complex side.

Great tasting coffee beans
We have tried several different brands of coffee beans at different prices over the last few years. My first impression of this coffee was that for the first time I actually could smell the chocolate notes mentioned on the package. The coffee itself was delicious and we have been enjoying it very much over the last few days.I would love to give this a 5 star review, however I feel it is a little too pricey for our household given that we drink around 4 cups a day between us.

Really nice coffee
I have used these beans in my Delonghi bean to cup machine for a few days now and I've enjoyed the coffee tremendously. The flavour profile was very rounded and pleasant to drink in both my Americanos and milky lattes.

Bitter Aftertaste
I decided to give this a try due to the write up of the description. The coffee smelt great after grinding but sadly the taste of bitter chocolate just lingered and lingered for ages after drinking. I failed to detect any notes of citrus at all and the taste of bitter chocolate overwhelmed the coffee itself. If you are a big fan of chocolate then this coffe may well suit you, sadly not me and believe me I am a big chocolate!

Tastes great
I am not a coffee connoiseur, so I can't describe the notes, flavours and experience very well, but I am a bit of a coffee snob and if I don't like a coffee I simply won't buy it again. In the case of this Coffee Masters Brazil (carbon neutral) coffee, it tastes absolutely wonderful. It's a taste I've not experienced before and there's a kind of separation in the flavours. I think I lack the palate to determine all of the individual flavours the product listing suggests there are, but the flavour is nice regardless. However, the current price of £7.99 for 200g of coffee is not something I would consider for myself in the future. I'm sure proper coffee enthusiasts wouldn't mind a price like this, but it's essentially 65% more expensive than many other options I have at my disposal.
