Multipet Look Who's Talking Frog Dog Toy

I must admit two things from the very top. I ordered the 24" Loofa Dog by mistake. I was looking for a multipack of toys for a small 12 pound dog. Amazon's wonderful wonderful search put this toy at the top of my search. I honestly thought I was buying a group of small Loofa Dogs, because I had seen the 'Mini' Loofas earlier and the picture showed 4 toys and the price was amazing. I popped it into the cart and continued shopping. The second admission is that I am ordering another. I did not think it was fair to leave it low ratings for DURABILITY, STURDINESS, and LONGEVITY. I couldn't because the toy is loved by our recent adoptee. The moment I opened the box, the Loofa Dog literally popped out of the box. It had been folded and stuffed in a small box and jetted across the room the moment the tape was cut. Our older dog just looked at our new girl and they both knew who it belonged to. Our new girl, Piper, grabbed the Loofa and ran in circles. Piper stopped and bit Loofa on the nose. Loofa let a big squeak and Piper went crazy. She repeatedly bit the squeaker, then brought it my wife and squeaked it for her. Then she brought Loofa to me and did the same. I grabbed Loofa to play and Loofa let out a 'moo' from the center of its body. We were treated to that sound for another 30 minutes. Piper carried Loofa all over the house, showing it where the water and food is, the front door the basement steps, just like you would a new roommate. Piper sleeps with Loofa. She loves to play tug with us and she loves to just grab Loofa and shake. Piper is a small 12 pound dog, so it is funny to see her with something twice her length. The first morning, I found an ear next to me. The next day, felt black dots, the eyeballs laid on my chest. Piper likes to rip Loofa open and pull the stuffings out. Loofa is not destined to last much longer, so we are ordering another. Since Loofa has entered Piper's life, she plays longer and doesn't go into a funk afterwards. She isn't crying in her sleep. I think Piper understands ripping Loofa apart is not a good thing. She brings the toy to us to be sewn up, even gathers up the stuffing. Last night she laid Loofa next to me while I slept and tonight she put Loofa next to my wife. I am buying another tonight and I'll let her keep both. We'll order more as needed. But, please, don't buy this toy thinking it can take abuse. It won't and to keep it going, you'll need to bone up on your sewing skills.

Gumby is holding up very well so far - while our teenage Basenji has destroyed many items, including many a dog toy - Gumby survives. It is a nice size for her, it is a good 'fetch' toy, and she keeps herself entertained shaking it and tossing it around. The squeaker is also not too loud, shrill or annoying - really squeakers don't have to be, so this is great. The only thing I found funny, and this is really my failure as a parent, is that when my son came home from college, he had so idea who the green guy was. And the price point was more than reasonable.

The dogs LOVE their Gumby toys! Do I expect them to last long? Not with this dog. In fact, the dog pictured began chewing Gumby's arm off shortly after this photo and had to be redirected, given a chew, and the Amazon box to shred before trying Gumby again. However, if your dog is like my Boston and more gentle on soft toys then this toy will last a long time. Her Gumby remains fully intact and loved. So, if you're buying this, just know your dog's style of play and how they treat soft toys, then purchase with reasonable expectations. I knew my wild man would destroy this, he destroys the tough made stuffies, but he has fun doing it and you can't beat the $3 price.Overall it's a cute toy at a good price. It's fun to play fetch with it in the house, but I wouldn't tug at it. Playing tug could rip it.

It was cute - the material seemed more like a stuffed animal. If your dog is a toy destroyer this definitely not for your dog. It gets very stringy.

My dog loves to carry toys like this around and play with it. He uses one so much and bites at it until he rips the arms off but they last a long time before it has to be replaced. Other stuffed toys aren’t very sturdy and the stuffing comes out, but not with these. I love them and so does he. He even lays on it to sleep. He’s a shih tzu so it’s big enough for him to drag around. I’m getting the frog next because I already have the yellow duck and now the pink pig. The price is really good for a toy this size and sturdiness. Love it

My son got this for our puppy at Christmas, 5 months later it started tearing. It wa show favorite toy. Luckily we found these (same ones) on here and purchased row to have a back up.

Update: 2 months in and the toy has already stopped making sounds. It no longer sings it's annoying song like the batteries have died. The toy is otherwise still intact. For now at least my dog still plays with it.My 7mo standard goldendoodle loves to hate this toy. It has quickly become her favorite. She loves to shake it, throw it and chase it, and take it outside and attempt to bury it. But she never leaves it for long. She is a destroyer of toys and this one doesn't have a stitch out of place 1 month in... but we watch it closely due to the sound box.

This is my dog’s favorite toy! He loves the size of it and the squeak! The quality is great, he hasn’t destroyed it yet after playing with it for over a week. It keeps him entertained at home, outside, or in the car! Great toy! 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have the shark toy as well. He sings the same tune as the mouse. My dog loves both of them, he goes nuts!

The media could not be loaded.  Há uns meses atras eu comprei aquela famosa galinha amarela, que também faz barulho, pro meu golden que é craque em destruir qualquer brinquedo, e ele destruiu em menos de 2 semanas mas era até o esperado. Agora eu comprei essa e ele simplesmente AMOU!!! Acho que pelo plástico ser mais maleável e não ter uma divisão de encaixe, acaba sendo bem mais resistente. Ele brinca bastante, morde e até dorme com ela e tá durando MUITO, então com toda certeza voltarei a comprar!!

Faz um barulhinho divertido e tem um bom tamanho. Infelizmente, nossa Golden gostou demais do brinquedo (e destruiu no primeiro dia, de tanto morder). Se o seu cãozinho é destruidor como a nossa, o brinquedo é frágil...

This is our second lambchop. Lambchop 1 got left behind at the cottage, so Santa Lambchop is the stand in. It's large, soft and durable but not indestructible of course since it is a stuffy. The price was great, local pet store had it priced much higher. I would and probably will have to order again.

Very cute & a good size. Dog loves it to play fetch in the house. Will not stand up to chewers & dogs who tear stuffies apart but works well for my needs.
