Cut really well but expensive compared to alternatives
There are two common types of plastic pipe cutter, the adjustable/variable size ones and this type which is a fixed size cutter. Fixed size often work better as they're a better fit on the pipe so I was keen to see how these worked. In terms of cut these are excellent as they're easy to open over the pipe, grip and rotate to complete the cut. They leave an accurate square cut and it leaves almost no burring.Being not much large than the pipe these can be used in tight spaces which is handy and an advantage over some of the adjustable pipe cutters. The main issue for me is the cost of £96.64 when purchased is high compared to buying individual cutters of the same design or an adjustable/variable size one. This is compounded by only having three cutters despite the 4 PCs description which presumably refers to the spare blades. If there was also a smaller 20-22mm size cutter for plastic overflow and water pipe that would at least make it more flexible and a bit better value.

Useful cutting set
Although expensive, this is a really useful set of cutting tools for plastic water pipes. They give a much smoother finish than sawing the pipe, and it's quicker, too. Easy to use, even for DIYers, just put the pipe in and twist it. Saves time if there's quite a lot of piping to cut and no rough ends. The set comes with spare blades and a tub to store them in. Seem well made and safe to use.

Cutting plastic waste pipe game changer
I often do bits of home maintenance and repair for myself, family and friends. One of my bugbears is getting a clean cut on plastic plumbing pipes. Sawing it leaves a rough edge that needs to be sanded or filed. With these the process is so much easier and quicker. There are three in the box, 2inch 1and a half inch and 1 and a quarter inch. Open it mark where you want to cut, close and twist. Each one has an arrow to indicate the direction of twist and boom, done. There is a small blade in each cutter which does all the work and they helpfully include a pack of spare blades. It all comes in a carry case, which is useful, because I can imagine these rolling around in a tool box on their own would soon prone to damage.Interestingly they are on sale individually and would be around £15 cheaper, so that’s a lot to pay for a plastic box and spare blades. But if you want them all in one then this pack would pay for itself quite quickly through saved time and more job satisfaction.

Didn't arrive securely packaged.
This arrived very poorly packaged. All of the blades were loose inside of the plastic tub they arrive in and this could have rather dangerous consequences. The cutter is really good as the blades are very sharpe and it's an easy tool to cut with.

A Proper Plastic PipeSlice
These are great, maybe a little bit pricey, but definitly worth it if you cut a lot of plastic pipe. The cut is quick and easy, much better than using as hacksaw or the super common recip saw, which I absolutly hate but see used all the time. The cut is super clean, and leaves a perfect finished end. The blades are easy to swap, and spares are supplied. Cutting takes 1 rotation of the pipe so its done in seconds. With a bit of practice you can take off 5MM if needed. The only thing stopping this being an easy 5 stars - At the time of review, the 3 items included are about £15 cheaper (£80.68) in total if you buy them separately vs the bundle here at £96.64 so the value of the plastic tub to keep them in is questionable, especially if you are happy with just 32MM and 40MM and can save £30 on the 50MM one.

Clean, precise cuts
Very well made, simple to use and the cuts are precise / repeatable.Blade change is a doddle with just three screws on cover and you get a pack of 5 spares included. I'd highly recommend not losing the blade guard, not just for safety, but to prevent the blade getting bashed about if loose in a toolbox.Tested with a variety of pipe and all cut extremely well.Serious kit, UK designed / made and highly recommend.

Very good cutters, but expensive
Arrive in a plastic storage tub which keeps the 3 cutters togetherFirst impressions are a good set, they seem well made and have good movement etcThey are suitable for waste pipes etc of all sizes, you receive sizes 1¼in. 1½in. and 2in, the pack also includes 5 Spare BladesThe blades are sharp, I’ve not cut much with them but I did try on some plastic piping and made light work of the cutPriced at just under £97 there not cheap, not sure I’d have paid that much for them, they are very good, but not good value in my opinion, however that doesn’t mean there not very good cutters.A good set, ideal for the plumber, easy to use, good grip, and a sharp blade.
